    12 Pts. Moonraker
    10 Pts. Casino Royale

    07 Pts. Dr. No
    06 Pts. Goldfinger

The top three were easy picks and the running order is long-established. Everything below that would likely be a completely different list tomorrow...

Nightmare. Can't do a top 10 but forced into this and not including the short stories as that's too stressful to work in.

I will likely not have time to read all of them (have a couple more to go), but will remind myself to pick my tops before the deadline.

Let's continue this contest ;-). But please note: If you have voted already, do not post a 'changed' TOP 10. It's too much fuzz for me to maintain the scores.

Post your TOP 10 only, and as follows:

    12 POINTS: Your No# 1 Bond Novel
10 POINTS: Your Runner-up Bond Novel
    08 POINTS: Your 2nd Runner-up Bond Novel
07 POINTS: Your 4th placed novel
06 POINTS: Your 5th placed novel
05 POINTS: Your 6th placed novel
04 POINTS: Your 7th placed novel
03 POINTS: Your 8th placed novel

Okay, I did some recounts. We have 39 voters. I excluded all the IMDB results. So only the forummembers who posted their TOP 10 in here the first time, will be counted :-).

I am very curious to see the results. I came to appreciate the novels as their own pretty late to be honest - when I first read them, I had too much of the cinematic Bond (here: Sean Connery) in mind to fully accept then. When a newly translated version with those beautiful covers from Michael Gillette was published some years ago, I read them one after another and I totally "got" the character Fleming created which greatly differs from most of the cinematic versions (which, still, I appreciate of course - but as their own breed).

For me, Daniel Craig's cinematic version opened myself up for the novels - he brought a lot of Fleming's Bond to the silver screen.

So, for the novels, I expect the Top 5 to be a mix of 50's and 60's ... with OHMSS and Moonraker being among them. But ... let's wait and see :-D

    Thanks for doing the poll!
