    I think The Rhythm Section was Gregg Wilson's project.

    Barbara and Michael are the "name" producers behind the film, but I've been keeping a close eye on Reed Morano's Instagram page and during production it was clear that Gregg was on set a lot.

    I imagine, Gregg will replace his father at some point. After all, his grandmother is Barbara's mother. So he's in the family business for keeps.

    There is zero chance Eon relinquish control - I guess they could promote someone like Andrew Noakes at some point, but I think they are rather proud that a Broccoli/Wilson has been on every film since 1962.

    But I imagine, Bond 25 will be Wilson's last film (he was v ill during SP and hardly on set) and Barbara may go it alone (or bring on Gregg).

    She’s not going it alone. Gregg is a producer on 25 (as he has been since QoS) and he will replace his father officially on 26. He has even started doing the Wilson cameos, starting in SF.

    He was a bar patron while Bond pounds back shots and plays with Scorpions, and in SP he passes by M and C during their gentlemanly faceoff (I think M calls Denbigh a little shit in the scene? I always FF by anything to do with C and Nine Eyes now!)

    Me too, that's why I didn't spot him. Good eyes, @peter. Gotta rewatch that scorpion scene now.

    The cool thing about his SP cameo is, that he does the scene together with his father, so it feels like a passing of the baton already.
    I looked very close for his SF cameo but still can't find him in that bar scene.

    I heard Mike G's cameo was deleted from SF as he did have a cameo, apparently, as one of Silva's guards on the island. Could be just an unfounded rumour, however.

    I just looked it up on IMDB and he’s a bar patron; I always thought in the early part of the scorpion scene, he was the actor directly to DC’s left. He’s not there on the other angle.

    He's a pallbearer at the funeral. He's still visible when Tanner says "It's time to go."

    Just watched it and @jake24 is indeed correct. Damn, I was convinced he was in the bar scene, and looking up IMDb it seemed to verify that!

    Is has it been made official that B25 is Michael's final Bond film. I haven't heard this before?

    Jack Lord. Wish he'd been in more Bond films. My favourite Felix. As good an actor as Jeffrey Wright is he hasn't been given anything to do.

    My thoughts exactly. Both Lord and Wright are my favorite Felix Leiters.

    The problem with Lord was that he always wanted the spotlight in everything he starred in. He wanted a co-star billing with Connery in Goldfinger and equal screentime, which was a big reason enough to look the other way and get Cec Linder.

    When Lord was offered the role of Captain Kirk, he wanted a large portion of the rights to the show bought to his account so he'd have creative control, hence they again looked the other way.

    Finally, with Hawaii Five-O, he got his wish. The rights to the show was divided between Leonard Freeman, CBS and himself. Lord, as much as I like him, was quite the control freak.

    Hopefully something along his appearance in his Dynamite comics storyline. Make him have a point! And let him get in on the action for once!

    I agree I want to see felix not just be bond's american ally but an integral part of the story and have him in the action for once.

    Yep I know. I have all 12 seasons on DVD. I recognize that window and that balcony and that look he had when looking out the window, then looking back. He also loved to feverishly snap his fingers when trying to figure out a puzzling case. :) Barely a week goes by without me catching at least one Five-O episode. I also came back from Hawaii (O’ahu) this summer so I was really stoked about rewatching both Five-O and Magnum (both of which I own on DVD). If I could live anywhere it would be O’ahu. Too bad they knocked down the Anderson Estate (Robin’s Nest on Magnum, Five-O filmed there too) earlier this year. I always dreamed of living there. Hey a guy can dream right? ;) But I did get a chance to swim in the ocean/tidal pool out back of the property (where Selleck used to swim) which was VERY cool. As well as peek over the gate in the back and front.

    It's been only a couple of weeks, if not less, that I finished my Magnum PI marathon myself. :D

    In fact, watching both Five-O and Magnum back to back is a terrific experience.
