I thought this page was just meant to be a bit of fun? Why are people taking it so seriously?

Hmmm, I didn't take it as a joke and thought the OP was seriously asking the question. The thought of GF or DN or any other iconic villains being rebooted doesn't appeal to me. Maybe we are only open to Blofeld being rebooted cause he was already played by multiple actors.

I would love to see some of John Gardner's villains brought to the big screen but this probably isn't for this thread.

Oh I see, well I'm just gonna treat it as such. I don't want to see any of the old villains return either, but it's kinda fun to do fake casting sometimes. Plus, after seeing The Last Jedi, I couldn't not see that actress as Rosa Klebb.
  • LIVE AND LET DIE (2020)

James Bond OO7 (Daniel Craig) returns in this spectacular remake of LIVE AND LET DIE.

From Harlem to Jamaica, the world’s greatest secret agent is joined by CIA agent Felix Leiter (Jeffery Wright) and a fortune teller named Solitaire in an epic battle against the dangerous gangster MR. BIG (Idris Elba) who may be yet another diabolical SPECTRE agent!!!

So would I. I was thinking Raymond Benson's Union Trilogy could make some great villains.

I want to see that, too! I want to have Felicity Jones as Solitaire, and make more faithful to the book. Come to think of it, Mr. Big could have come back in the book Solo, with clever writing.
  • Sources have told The Daily Express that US actor Danny McBride has been cast as a certain Southern lawman known to all Bond fans!

I dont mind if they use characters that weren't properly adapted from the books, but they use different names.

This. I don't want to see old names pop up - not even Bunt. There are unused villains from the novels and games to adapt, otherwise invent new ones.

The books and graphic novels are the best place to reboot the villains and side characters.
