  Just looked through the last several pages, I thought he was looking a bit ropey in SP, Sir Roger and Pierce looked much better and 'Healthier' hitting 50 than DC.

  Maybe he did have some work done, but whoever did his hair and makeup should never again work in the business. Well that may be a bit extreme but they did him no favors. He was washed out and his hair looked like his mum has combed it over for his first day at school.

  Also I know a lot of fans want to see Bond again on skis; well that should wait for the next guy. For numerous reasons, being photographed in cold climates is often not complimentary to more mature actors. I’ll give to examples; look at Roger Moore in FYEO; in the winter scenes he looks old and drawn, while in the Mediterranean sequences he looks much better. He’s tanned and healthy looking .
  The same can be said for Daniel in SPECTRE; he looks much better in the Hotel L’Americain scenes than the post plane chase scenes when he’s in the bitter cold.
  So for Daniel’s send off,warm climates and deep tans!

  Totally agree @talos7 I am in my early 40's and it been a bitter winter, though as soon as spring arrives I am mountain biking every day soaking up the sun and looking good. DC when pale does not suit him at all, it really does age him dramatically, sun makes a difference.

  I think the days of thinking a quality American director not being able to do Bond justice is a thing of the past. Bond is loved worldwide but even an American like myself knows that a huge part of that love is Bond being British. If the director has the talent to do the character justice, I don't think it matters what his nationality is. Coogler would be a fine choice. Not every American director is named Michael Bay or Brett Ratner
