Went on a dinner-and-movie date last night and saw '22 Jump Street,' and I'm going out to Olive Garden tonight for dinner again. Having dinner at home with some family members tomorrow, and I'll probably finish the night off with this 'Indiana Jones' marathon I'm trying to do.

That really would have been a cool thing to have witnessed!

Who, me? Well it's 8°C here- not quite freezing my bolas off. This weekend my parents will be visiting from interstate, staying for a few days, so I'll have to do my best to entertain them. Cook up some pasta, go out for a counter meal at the local, catch a flick etc.

Going out with my lady for a long shopping trip today, and out for dinner and a movie tomorrow! Should be quite the weekend. Wishing you all a fun weekend, as well!

Here's some of the loot I scored today.

I plan combining the black filing box and spy gear business card safe into a Safety deposit box. In my movie there is a small bank heist scene that involves me stealing diamonds from the villain. ;)

What are we getting into this weekend, ladies and gentlemen?

I'll be up early to mail out some packages, then back home to get ready for my cousin's birthday party. I'll spend the rest of the weekend watching movies and attempting to make plans to catch 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' at midnight this upcoming Thursday.

Anyone else doing anything fun or entertaining?

I just finished practicing for teaching a lesson I am substituting for a friend of mine at her school. Now I am home sweating to death until my A/C actually cools down this room, which I think is at least 88 F inside. At least. And muggy. Not fun yet.

But tomorrow I will have fun eating pizza at my very favorite Italian restaurant, so that will be a genuine treat.

Yay to pizza! Any day, any time, just about any place.
Have fun at the festival exhibition. Are they exhibiting pizzas? Just curious ...

Haha. Probably not. There is a festival in town with lots of bands and artists, but also other things happening. Going to an art exhibition there, stroll around and check out what there is, and round it off with some pizza .

I'm packing my bags today and tomorrow I'll be catching a plane home to spend some quality time with my family and heading south to my favourite beach for a few "lazy-ish" relaxation B-)
  • LAST weekend (okay, so I'm tardy catching up) I was in Nashville TN on business. Music City USA! Had some great BarBQ @ Jack's & wonderful southern style comfort food @ Monel's, where the house motto is: "I've eaten and I can't get up!" Today I'll be playing what I like to call "The gig at the end of the world"... music with some friends in a little cafe in Pacifica right across the street from the beach (and therefore the ocean.)

Figured I'd bump this to see what everyone is getting into this weekend.

Going home to visit my father (not doing so well with the cancer, so I want to see him ASAP) and spend time with the rest of my family this weekend. Getting a haircut and arriving home tomorrow, going out with my girlfriend and Mom so the three of us can hang out and do a little shopping while Dad relaxes, and then going to a family dinner on Sunday before heading back to my apartment at college.
