Not to be annoying, but that's a patronym, not a middle name. It just tells us hus dad was Dimitri. A.k.a. @DarthDimi.
Hey, I'd really like that!
Most certainly never. I'm sure I've forgotten plenty of stuff and it seems every day is a school day on this forum.
I am probably a bit rusty on some Bond facts but a lot of it never leaves you! There's always new things to learn, which keeps the fandom from becoming stale.
Not at all; thanks for the clarification. My mind did flash back to Vavra from FRWL (male, of course) when I read the name.
If you look closely at this, his legs are about a third too long, likely to make up for Berry's heel height. Ask yourself... where are his knees?
Haha, good catch! I never noticed that.
Cubby: All the main cast, of course. Roger, Tanya, Chris and Grace.
Production assistant: Martin Grace?
Cubby: Who else?
Production assistant: What about Walter Gotell?
Cubby: Uh, I don't think so. I had to slash the budget of the film after losing one too many backgammon games with Roger. Get a stuntman to fill in for him.
(beat)
Cubby: In fact, let's get a stuntman to fill in for Roger, as well.
Production assistant: In what scenes?
Cubby: All of them. We don't need him. I've had a vision. This will be the first Roger Moore Bond film without Roger Moore. With him free of his "acting" obligations, I'll have more time to win my money back from him. We'll get by with Simmons, Julienne, Graydon and Grace.
Production assistant: Martin Grace?
Cubby: No, Grace Jones.
This is brilliant! :))
I think he wants you to do it.
--And I just read this: "It has been reported that Blofeld's cat was so surprised by the loud noises in the finale that it was only found several days later cowering in the rafters of the volcano set."
I love the Dikko character in the book. Far more entertaining than what we got in the film. Now there's a character they could still use...
They don't cast small parts in films the same way anymore. Shame because it's much more visually interesting. Spectre did get it right with the henchmen chasing Q. A throwback to old films.
Flashbacks to Günter Meisner:
I did too; a couple of scenes at least. The scene he got wasn't bad though. A nice little moment indeed.
Agree that CR had memorable minor characters. The film kinda had too I feel, given that there was so much going on throughout.
Wasnt it surmised that he was playing Blofeld in pre production? Maybe it would have been better if he had?
I agree with the casting of the minor characters. In that OMHSS scene I always like the older lady "that's a great piece of luck being bailed out like that." Dressed in a glamorous dress and jewels.
In OHMSS when Bond cleans out his desk he opens the middle drawer, and pulls out Honey’s knife.
Then in the next shot the centre drawer is closed and the left side drawer is open.
Placing the knife on the desk top he reaches in again and pulls out Grants watch. Placing it on the desk. Honey’s knife is then back in the drawer momentarily and finally out comes the rebreather from TB
Of which there are two seen in the drawer.
John Glen. I forgive you.
