Oops...I'm not trying to show off, really, but that was one thing I noticed the first time I saw that movie in early 1974 (when I was 17), and it was one of the things that bothered me about it right away, along with the other supernatural/voodoo stuff which I think does not belong in a Bond movie as a rule. I still went on to see it three times at a theatre, the only James Bond film to be able to claim that, uhm, honour. And I still think it's a fun film and one of the better Roger Moore movies.
Next viewing i will look for that .
I find it very watchable...its one of my 'go to' Bond's when i have been to the pub...just fun .
I'm usually pissed by that stage thank God.
HAHAH! Surely it has to be possible to make a drinking game from watching DAD. A shot for every joke made, or something.
You would be in a coma through drink after 5 mins !!
"So, what sharp little eyes you've got!".
I'm humiliated to confess that I've honestly never noticed that before. It's especially embarrassing given the number of times I've seen this film.
Was this really so obvious to others as well?
UK, November 2 - The British government has just released the statistics for Die Another Day-related accidents in the UK in 2016. Last year there were a total of 197 such incidents, a dramatic increase from 116 in 2015. Safety experts believe the rise is related to a greater amount of showings of the film on television, due to the extremely low price of its TV broadcasting licence. This newspaper talked to Helen Robinson, 53, of West Drayton, London. On October the 22nd, she was preparing dinner in the kitchen while Die Another Day came on TV. "It was pretty good for a while, except for Madonna," she stated, "but then came that surfing scene. It was so stupid I was utterly gobsmacked for a while, and I nearly cut my finger off with the knife." A total of 89 Die Another Day-related kitchen injuries have been reported, along with 43 electrocutions, 59 trips and falls and 6 suicide attempts. Safety experts are clamoring for the film to be banned, and for an international search warrant to be issued for one Lee Tamahori, 67, from Wellington, New Zealand, who directed the film. "What he did with Die Another Day was criminal," they declared in a joint statement released today. More on this story as it develops.
You're probably right, haha! In comparison - watching the last two films, you would probably only get tipsy, at best!
What's the last floor number we see as Bond rides the elevator up to Dryden's?
That's right: 6.
For the debut of the 6th James Bond.
I think it says C4 on one side and RDX on the other.
Also Greene is unhinged at the end of QoS.
True facts. I myself had a DAD-related kitchen injury earlier this year when I was watching it for the community Bondathon. I burned my hand and had to sit holding an ice cube for the entire movie.
Ice Palace = ice cube....must have been like a home from home.
Intentional or not, neat catch.
Yeah great catch.
Boom boom.
