How about a scene with an aircraft carrier?
That’s true. And I love the “Commander” references in the film, but I wish they’d treat the theme more bombastically, not with military exoticism ala Michael Bay 🤮, but with some panache and flair, that only the Royal Navy has, historicallly and in its ethos.
They're was meant to be one in TLD. When Bonds plane runs out of fuel after the bridge blowing up, it was planned that he land the plane on an aircraft carrier
They did storyboard it. It appeared in one of the 007 Magazine articles I think. It would have been cool, the plane skids to a halt teetering on the edge of the Carrier!
Having just come off a save the world plot, I hope the next Bond film might be more along the lines of FRWL, or a North by Northwest or The 39 Steps.
From FIFA with Love. FFIFAWL. "Ef-ef-ai-ef-ey-wuhl." Has a nice ring to it.

• Car chases
• One-liners
• Three "Bond girl" candidates
• Excentric villain who has a hidden secret lair
• Superhuman henchman
• Over-the-top gadgets
• Exotic locations
• Action-packed sequences
*Optional
Possibly, except:
* The one liners (depends on the one liners, if it's something along the Moore Era, I doubt it would happen, the majority of the one liners in the Moore Era didn't aged well and dated, but if it's something like the Brosnan Era, maybe?)
* Three Bond Girl candidates (in this day and age, I doubt this would've likely to make a comeback, because you know, sexism? This one is the most clear of not making a comeback, I'm telling you, it's impossible, so don't hope for this one, this trope is already dead, although the closest we could get to this is SPECTRE, there's Estrella in that Mexico PTS, Lucia and Madeleine, Skyfall may count too, if one includes Moneypenny as the Bond Girl, because there's Severine and Bond's unnamed girlfriend in the beginning of the film (Tonia Sotiropoulou)).
* Superhuman henchman (in this day and age, where everything seemed to be realistic and grounded, I doubt it, although the closest to this are Mr. Hinx and Primo in both SP and NTTD, if one may call them as superhuman; Mr. Hinx is unusually strong, and Primo had the bionic eye 😅).
In this day and age, I doubt those three that I've mentioned would've likely to happen, the one liners one probably depends.
But the rest, possibly, Mission Impossible and some other modern spy movies did those, so why not Bond?
The Classic Bond formula could possibly return, as long as it's modified to the modern era, if they're looking at the Classic Bond Formula in this modern day and age, then the best thing is to look back to the Brosnan Era, it's the modern Bond films with Classic Bond Formula.
You could argue we got all of them with NTTD, aside from the superhuman henchman, although Primo had a bionic eye.
Yes indeed, although for me something like Skyfall or CR just feels more like a Bond film than NTTD does. So I don't think it's about a checklist.
TWINE has a bit of a similar baddie hierarchy to FRWL, in fact.
