If you've got enough time then could you do it for Diamonds Are Forever? (the last JB film I would do)
The idea: basically you watch the film as you always would, but you make note of 2 or 3 "takes" that seemed quite long (usually it is very obvious). When the movie is done, you can go back and do it in less than 2mins. Fade in/out is allowed but only count one of the shots (not first and 2nd). Also, if the take continues into the credits, you must stop timing when the first credit is shown (e.g. FRWL).

Dr. No - 67.0s - Bond and Miss Taro are talking inside her bedroom. We see Bond's reflection in the mirror and then he calls a taxi. She gets into bed and they kiss, as Bond peeks at his watch. (Fade-in/out incl.)
FRWL - 68.5s - When Bond talks to Kerim's son at the station. The take finishes showing that Red Grant was listening. "I have some bad news... your father's dead."
GF - 36.5s - Bond talking to Goldfinger at his ranch in Kentucky.
TB - 45.41s - Bed scene with Bond and Fiona Volpe. "This bed feels like a cage; all these bars. Do you think I'll be... safe?" (w/ wipe transition cut)
YOLT- 31.5s - Bond threatening Mr. Henderson with a gun and then whacking his leg with a cane stick. "Excuse me."
OHMSS - 56.5s - Bond and Tracy talking on the balcony bed in the casino hotel room.
DAF - 94.0s - Tiffany is smoking next to Bond, after sex.
LALD - 85.0s - Bond and Solitaire talking about Kananga, whilst lying in bed together. "Lovers' lesson number one; we have no secrets." The take ends when Bond gets out of bed.
TMWTGG - 102.5s - Bond enters the belly dancer's dressing room and they talk. From: "Good evening. My name is Bond, James Bond. You're dancing was superb, so were you." "Merci." [...] "It depends."
TSWLM - 44.5s - On the submarine, Bond is talking with the USS Wayne Captain, asking for the jet-ski to save Anya. "I need an hour." "Well that's coming from the top!"
MR - 34.5s - When Goodhead is unbuckling Bond out of the centrifuge seat and he's sweating and leaning against the wall. HG: "I don't know what could of happened...Something must of gone wrong with the controls...Let me help you."
FYEO - 42.0s - Bond and Melina Havelock enjoying the view on the balcony in Corfu.
OP - 43.5s - Khan and Octopussy speaking about Bond at her island. OP: "Who is he?"

Yep. A "take" as in a single (unedited) shot. The ending of Casino Royale (2006) actually cuts back and forth between Bond and Mr. White and never gets beyond 30s I think.

So far, every Glen directed entry has a longest take of roughly 40 seconds, albeit having 2 different editors throughout those films.

QoS is situated beautifully at the bottom with the shortest single shot. We always discuss QoS's takes being very short but now we have some numbers to back it up aswell! :smiley:
Was it the dinner scene?
I've typed it out above. But it's not the dinner scene. The long take is of Bond 'interrogating' the belly dancer at her dressing room, near the beginning of the movie around 15 minutes in.

Yeah, I was going to mention that with an asterisk, but I figured that it wasn't worth noting in the end. I mean, we all know it isn't 1 take and I like the fact that the SP opening shot is the longest too. Still makes it unique.
Btw folks, I'm also going to add some more stats once each film has been done. Things like: # of Bond girls featured (/24 films), # bed scenes, # Bond or villain appearances etc. I realized quite early on that the bed scenes are extremely common to be the longest takes and also that Bond was almost always talking in every take. So far he's been in all but 2 longest takes and only 3 where he was present but didn't talk.
@BondJasonBond006 So you recently watched DAD? Any take that stood out? I can go back and time it quickly.
