Isaacs could have been an interesting Blofeld too, perhaps?
Fleming's depiction of Blofeld/Comte Bleuchamp? Oh yes.

Even the Blofeld-look of the 60's films!

His facial similarities with Craig also do bring certain elements to the play. Say somebody impersonated Bond while committing crimes in his name... DoubleShot comes to mind, but without the "twin clone" extravaganza.

Funny I was thinking of a Bond Dopplehanger idea a couple of days ago

I'd love to see Bond kick Lesnar's arse and wallop him off a building. That visual would be perfectly satisfactory to watch.

One of the best things about SP is as a viewer you believed Bond was in serious trouble against Hinx

True. The much maligned Newman excelled on the scoring front in that scene as well.

I just saw him in Gerald's Game where was decidedly creepy. Reminds me a bit of Vargas.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan. He could have a character that is very similar to Bond - fit, smart, charming - but as an antagonist.

Neeson and Renner would be good. But my dark horse choice is Alexander Skarsgard

Who could be the next Blofeld?

John C. McGinley would be good. I'd love to see him as one of the Spang Brothers.

Geoffrey Rush. I haven't even seen in that much (certainly not Pirates of the Caribbean, which I've never watched), but he has a presence.

Watching Morena Baccarin in Gotham playing a bit of a badass now. I could imagine her not as the main villain perhaps, but a femme fatale like Xenia or Cigar girl.

Being Brazilian with Italian roots, she has looks that could give her a range of believable ethnicities from around the globe.

I also think she'd make a great Bond girl - good age for Craig at 38 - but that is for another thread.

@QBranch, check that Bond comic VARGR where there’s a villainess called Dharma Reach. She’s like an evil Selina Kyle portrayed by Morena Baccarin. That’s why Morena would make a great evil Bond Girl.

I don't like the fact he's appeared in a previous Bond film, but I'd welcome him back. He's older, and an actor, so he'd probably manage to come across as a different person.

Agreed. Today's Benicio del Toro would be what Robert Davi as Franz Sanchez used to be back in the day.

After seeing Bright, I definitely think Noomi Rapace could be a Bond villain, I think she could pull that off better than being a Bond girl for sure...

Wouldn't mind seeing her play a Bond villain. Her ex-husband has already played one, too!

Kenneth Branagh voices interest. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I thought he was awful in that Jack Ryan remake but he's generally a pretty good actor. He's recently worked with Nolan too. The fool who pulled the article together seems to think that Bardem was the villain in SP (or maybe he's just trying to forget the last film).

Tells you how knowledgeable journalists can be. Branagh can be great or ham it up big time. It really depends how he takes the role and the material.
