The overlapping dialogue sounded like.........I'm trying to concentrated.

Sotheby's auction. They don't make scenes like this anymore. It would be considered too slow paced, but this is so fantastic.

His greatest moment is at the Hemingway House in LTK.

Agreed, by far. As good as anything from Lee and Dench in that scene.

People have mixed feelings on Magda, but I agree with Rog "There is a lady..."

I like the way Magda goes through the crowd. It reminds me of Fatima in the crowd watching Bond and Largo playing the video game in NSNA.

    She's one of my favorites.

    Good call! Very similar.

The auction in the short story THE PROPERTY OF A LADY (which is similar but also contains key differences) actually ties in (in a fairy significant way) to the novel TMWTGG. I had forgotten that until thumbing through the later earlier today.

Interesting. Been years since I read TMWTGG.

Robert Brown showing some Bernard Lee type anger at Bond bidding. I do love his "Good god..."

A wry smile at Bond on his way out. This is a solid debut by Robert

Robert Brown has the perfect look for M, and I do so love his angrier moments.

Moore arriving with class. The Bond tune being played on the pungi is a bit jarring though.

The audience laughed at the Bond theme there in the cinema.

Rog you will always be the man. If you see in production stills and behind the scenes featurettes, he was mobbed by the people of India as it really sparked a buzz the filming of Bond. It's hard to imagine it was any less crazy than when Connery was mobbed in Japan. Yet Rog is always smiling and interacting with his fans with total class and respect.

Always love hearing the audience reactions to different parts as I was not alive to witness this era of Bond in cinema. It would be definitely groan inducing if included today, but just shows how times have changed!

White. Dinner. Jacket. Do wish it was shawl lapels though.

Another top 10 scene coming up.

Audiences were pretty vocal then. The water-ski bit in LTK brought a huge cheer.
