Brilliant and a young Anthony Hopkins there, Dalton had the chops early on for sure he has always had gravitas. I need to watch that film
Jake Lombard dives downward and struggles with BJ Worth.
GREAT Barry music here, I must say.
Jaws happens to know how to parachute as well. Bond pulls the cord just in time.
If this were four years later, we'd get the OOHHHHHHROOH sound here.
One of my favorite title sequences.
I like the girl flying. We really don't get the nude women in title sequences any more.
I miss Bond immediately entering Moneypenny's office after the titles. Now that we have the old office back, wouldn't it be refreshing for Bond to do that again?
Bond effed up M's painting..... and he doesn't give a sh!t.
I like i already.
The Blu-ray looks amazing.
And a naked Bond....meh,what the heck is that all about ?!
The shirtless shots of Craig spoils it for me, though. Roger was always smartly dressed in the titles, courtesy of Binder. Maurice saved the topless moments for the models.
Yes!!!! I always felt the Brosnan era had some solid poster artwork.
I'm on the cable car crash/Dolly scene. I love the cable car fight. MR is essentially one stunt/action sequence after another, with humor injected. Plot and story written around the set pieces. It really was a huge hit back in '79. That might be what we need now. Seems to have worked for MI: FALLOUT.
The Magnificent Seven!
Now onto the boat chase complimented by a laid back version of the 007 Theme.
Jaws goes over the cliff.
Craig was great in his first two films as the films played to his strengths. Craig is decent in SF though its the contrived script I can't tolerate in that film.
It is an odd seduction scene with Bellucci . His reading of "Bond....James Bond" in that scene is without hesitation my least favorite in the series. In fact, I prefer Peter Seller's CR reading of that line over Craig's there.
It is in sync with the film, scorewise.
Very much agreed.
IMO, the best of the series along with GE.
