    The beach encounter. With its chocolate box visuals and godawful dialogue!!

    Still, betterI suppose than the white trousers/ brown shoes he wears in TWINEs finale!

    Final encounter with Xenia. Reckon this would have been more effective if they saved it for the last reel. Would have been a nice callback to the earlier movies when the henchman/ woman turns up at the end!

    Pierce's outfit in the third act of TWINE doesn't work for me either. It looks alright as he's in the torture chair, but after he removes the jacket and we get to the submarine, I don't think it looks too flattering on him.

    Great opening shot. One of my favorites in the series.

    Wonderful Barry score.

    I love Marc Lawrence. He's in quite a few movies back in the 1940's.
    I loved when Golden Age of Hollywood actors appeared in the Bonds.

    Christopher Lee remains my all time favorite actor. A ranking he's he's had now exactly 40 years when I first saw DRACULA PRINCE OF DARKNESS on television late one Friday night.

    I'm curious about that myself. I think they might've been. Perhaps Binder tweaking it a bit? The old CBS/FOX Home Video edition had the blue dots, yet they were white one the MGM/UA home video version.

    I tend to think some of those changes are more noticeable on the home video formats.
    I saw a double bill of TSWLM and MR on 35mm prints awhile back, and the yellow background was far more subtle. The blood on both films was a deeper red.

    The overall color palette is more muted on the Blu-ray than the 2000 SE DVD.

    The little fight at Hai fat's is funny, but pales in comparison to the legend that is CHULA CHULA CHULA CHULA.
