Ant-Man 2 looks like an absolute blast and an opening day viewing for me. This summer is looking very good, Mission Impossible 6 & Equalizer 2 are going to be splendid additions to the filmographies of Tom Cruise and Denzel Washington, and The Meg with Jason Statham / Skyscraper with Dwayne Johnson look insanely entertaining too.
I was reminded of the film somewhat when I saw Wonder Woman last year. They both have obvious WW2 and origin vibes.
I take it the CGI for Thanos is inconsistent?
With that said, I left the theater feeling kind of unfulfilled and even a bit disappointed, though I can’t really put my finger on why. Judging by some other reviews though, I’m not the only one.
Pure insanity that film is.
There was no stand out sequence unfortunately but the tension was so high that I was locked in every second. Lots of laughs too. High emotions and drama. Though it is half a film, and not really an avengers film at that, more of a Thanos film really.
This one is up there for me, top three perhaps but it’ll take a few more viewings because it’s a lot to take in.
It has also broken the world-wide opening weekend record of $540 million set by Fate of the Furious last year, becoming the first film ever to earn at least $600 million in its first weekend ($630 million, to be exact).
And is it me, or has Peter Dinklage grown up since I last saw him ? Oh, come on, everybody was thinking it, right ?
Kevin "The King" Feige is a one of a kind producer who knows how to cultivate results and success and his trick is so obvious and basic but for some reason other "producers" seem incapable of applying the same/respective approach.
Avengers 4 is going to be an absolute BEAST and Captain Marvel which comes out a few months before will make $Billion easily.

As for Captain Marvel's reveal at the very end, Carol is going to kick all kinds of ass.
Yep! It's weekly and daily drops since it's release have been miniscule at best, having one of the best holds if not the best hold for any movie. It's about to reach $700M domestically any day now.
In my opinion, civil war was more of an avengers film than infinity war is.
I am determined to watch the film tomorrow there is a lunch time showing where I am, I'll try to go to that one I am sure I'll enjoy it from none spoiler comments I have read.
Also, after a lot of thought this is how my Ranking stands
I really don’t know how to even compare the likes of iron man and infinity war
1. Iron man
2. Infinity war
3. Captain America civil war
4. Spider man homecoming
5. Captain America The winter solider
6. The avengers
7. Iron man 2

If pressed, I would put THE WINTER SOLDIER, IRON MAN, IRON MAN 3 (a wickedly funny work by Shane Black, one of my favorite writers), and CIVIL WAR at the top of the list, with an honorable mention to BLACK PANTHER and ANT-MAN.
I am on annual leave lol
Official poster for Ant-Man and the Wasp:
