Most Marvel product post Endgame has been exactly that for me. I'm still curious to see whether they've managed to pull it off, but I've also sobered up after a good decade of running to theatres as if my life depended on it. I'm nowadays more than cool with waiting a few months for a night of fun at home.
This is not the case with DC, by the way. A new Batman film? Oh boy, me wants it badly; I'll set up camp at the movie theatre if I have to. ;-)
Those are all my favorites from the MCU too. I’d throw Homecoming and Ant-Man and the Wasp in there as well. The more comedic Marvel films are among their best.
I’m curious to see buff Natalie Portman and more of the Guardians here, but apart from Chris Hemsworth’s impeccable comedic timing (which seems to only be getting better from film to film) I didn’t find anything particularly funny about the trailer, and Bale’s bad guy seems like an odd fit for Waititi’s take on Thor. I guess we’ll see in another month though.
But I hope that Love and Thunder will not be so goofy as Ragnarok.
Cute show. Nice to have a female protagonist with flaws and challenges. Curious how this plays out.
I watched it yesterday and to be fair it was produced well, the family dynamic was amusing. It reminded me of Into the Spiderverse with how is was framed and edited.
That was clever the illustrations on buildings, I thought the score was good, I liked the color palette and cultural references, it was well made.
I just watched this now (bit behind!) and I thought it was utterly charming! But then I thought Moonknight started out well too... ;)
Great lead and direction, although I guess the way the message behind it (from the global megacorp which makes countless superhero movies and merch) seemed to be that it's fine to ignore your studies and be a fan and consumer of superhero stuff was maybe a little sinister :D
With the exception of WandaVision, I’ve felt every Marvel tv show should have been a movie (Hawkeye, Moon Knight) or just felt like they were made to give Disney+ some extra content (Falcon, Loki). I think Ms Marvel justifies it’s position in being a tv show, and I can’t wait for the remaining episodes.

I will wait till streaming.
I wish more blockbusters returned to that.
Same. Looks dumb, but I will give it a watch eventually.
None spoiler reviews say its jokey, tone in films is vital.

Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness has become my favorite directed MCU movie. There are some deep cuts in this film .Sam Raimi.
The
There is one line of dialogue in this film I just said 'WOW'.
What was that?
I edited my above post. 'I wondered why I lied'. This film felt more DC than Marvel.
I was very much a DC fan as a kid and only really knew Marvel from the Xmen and Spiderman cartoons back in the day. One thing is obvious the MCU films/TV have certainly dropped in quality with a few acceptions.
I think when a IP very much like Star Wars is having so much content put out it dilutes the product.
It gets to a point that as long as a brand name is attached they can sell people $#/+
I agree, I still generally like Marvel, but it is overexposed by its fans who can see no wrong.
I am a big Doctor Who and Star Wars fan though I will call it out if its sub standard. Sometimes I wonder if bad content is being put out on purpose.
Ah, the Moonraker of Thor. 😉
One shot in this trailer has peaked my interest, I actually want to see this film now.
