Bond's brother did not become head of Spectre. No where in Spectre does it make the claim that Bond is his brother.
They weren't foster brothers. If you watch the film the contents from Skyfall reveal that Charmain Bond was his guardian. I think it states that he spent a winter or two with the Oberhausers. Obehauser the elder asked his son to treat Bond like a brother, but he didn't foster him. No doubt inspired by Fleming's time with Alban Forbes Dennis and Phyliss Bottome in Austria.
Ah well that in a way makes it both better and worse. Better in that it somewhat mitigates them from having shared some deep personal past as children, but worse in that it makes even less sense that Blofeld would harbor some lifelong grudge over it.
Collins also worked on NTTD for those of you who didn't know that. Like the Matera chase with him sitting in the DB5 roof pod

Daniel Craig is reportedly 'planning a worldwide tour' to promote his final James Bond film No Time To Die, after the release date was moved to September.
The 007 actor, 53, who will portray the role of the secret agent for the last time, is set to attend film premieres in-person when the movie is released in cinemas, in a time when many stars have been making such appearances over Zoom.
Daniel is planning to 'reach out to the world' by starting his promotional tour in London, then heading to Europe and travelling as far as the US and the Far East.
According to The Sun, an industry source said: 'The studios MGM and Universal want to give No Time To Die the greatest promo push with old-fashioned cinema ticket sales.
'Despite losses from two release delays they feel there are the ingredients to make this movie a billion-dollar release – and so reaching out to the world and putting on a show is important.
'Daniel knows that and as long as safety measures are employed and risks averted he is on board.'
MailOnline has contacted representatives for Daniel Craig, Eon Productions, and Universal for comment.

I agree, it really diminishes Blofeld as a villain. In the novels he comes across as a very sinister character who runs a very dangerous organisation. The personal aspect coming from him killing Bond's wife. Blofeld in the film Spectre does not feel scary or threatening because his raison d'etre of crime is due to some petty childhood jealousy. Moreover it makes it feel less likely he would actually even get anywhere near the top of an organisation like Spectre. And this is a large problem of the film - what's the threat? The Nine Eyes stuff is just convulated and equally feels like petty in government squabbling about merging organisations. What's the threat from Blofeld? That he wants to settle the score with Bond because he felt his father showed Bond more affection than he did to him. So by the film's conclusion there is nether suspence or any real audience care for what happens to Bond, M, Q or Swann in the last last.
Yes I think that’s fair. And I know they’re fantasy movies, but the idea that somehow one ends up as a spy and the other is in the business where a spy would come after them is a bit of a stretch. Like your hated half brother happening to enter the catering industry just as you become a kitchen food health and safety officer :)
If he were Batman and his childhood nemesis went into just generally creating mayhem and crime in the same city it would kind of be believable, but Bond and Blofeld end up at other sides of a fairly specific industry :)

No Time to Die, Daniel Craig’s 007 finale, was originally planned for late 2019 but found itself moving inadvertently into the pandemic due to production delays. As 2021 started with vaccinations underway but infections still spiking, EON Productions and distributor MGM pushed it a third time due to the virus, now to October. That announcement in late January inspired countless jokes on Twitter: Looks like there’s plenty of time to die.
Stephen Bruno, chief marketing officer at MGM, said the loyalty of 007 fans has kept the character vital over six decades, and he thinks it will endure this extended delay. “We never take that passion for granted,” he says. “We’re constantly assessing the global theatrical landscape and had to make difficult decisions to move to later time frames, when theatrical movie going is expected to be more widely available. We make those decisions with the fans, exhibition, and our promotional partners in mind every time. There is no perfect formula to this unprecedented moment unfortunately.”
This pretty much sums up how the series stumbled. Hope NTTD finds away to help correct this.
BonSimonLeBon_1 also talked about Blofeld's threat in SP. As head of the organization, there's still lots of mayhem Blofeld could cause, with plots revolving around terrorism, extortion, revenge and counter-intelligence. But after two films in a row featuring Blofeld, I think the series should give him a rest. After all, there was no Blofeld in a Bond film between FYEO (unless you call it a parody) and NSNA and SP, a stretch of about 30 years. Then again, Blofeld was in five of the earliest films.
At least wait and see whether you like what she did! :)
I'm not sure if she had more involvement in the plot, although I remember her mentioning she read a few Fleming novels and she wouldn't reveal which ones, because it might give something away (I think she read Dr No)
A new DHL vlog, a track from the OST. Anything would be nice at this point. Everything right now just seems like an eternity.
I'm sure them starting up and then delaying the marketing for the film two or three times certainly hasn't helped. I'd imagine it'll gear up as the summer progresses.

I couldn’t find threads for watches or gadgets so I figured I’d post this here.

Top Gun Maverick now takes its November 19th 2021 release.

I wonder if the plan was to have been that Cruise announced it on Graham Norton’s show tonight? It was all Top Gun themed.
But what's with the Rubik's Cube in the background, hmm? Something we'll see on Q's desk perhaps?

Bond fostered it.
The shot of him holding the machine gun near the end of the video is great
Yes, he looks fantastic in the tuxedo, especially in this movie. I’m digging the slight 5 o’clock shadow he’s rocking too.
