The scene looks like some sort of hostage rescue to me. Don't know about you guys.

Yep. But given the look of the blonde girl in the Toyota, are we really sure Armas is gonna look that way in the movie? Weird. The male stunt double is definitely Magnussen.

I don't think it's supposed to be Armas. My first thought was Seydoux, but I could be wrong of course.

If she's not de Armas, must be Seydoux. Since those people are stunt double with face replacement, she must be one of the main actors. Seydoux.

Maybe Bond thought she died in the PTS, but the truth is she didn't.

    I think...
...it's meant to be a young Mr. White and his wife. It would explain why they've made the woman look like Madeleine, and more importantly it seems the little girl from the Norway sequence is in the back. You can kind of see what looks like blonde hair and a bit turquoise behind the chair where the woman is. Also the car looks very 90s. You don't really cars of that colour anymore. Well I certainly don't anyway. I think this will be the introduction to the Norway "flashback". I also think this scene could be product of Madeleine Swann's interactions with Blofeld during these supposed "Hannibal-esque" scenes. It would make sense if they're trying to de-age Jesper, but I'm not sure why they would also want to CGI the woman's face unless they'd actually cast the role?

It's possible, but I definitely don't think the two Norway shoots are directly linked. There is snow on the ground in the first shoot. The Atlantic Road had no snow when they shot on it. Also, as the house scene in Norway is scene #15, I highly doubt Bond will have already acquired the V8 that early in the film.

I've thought this as well, but, as has been pointed out, they are being perused by modern vehicles. this could possibly be misdirection on the part of the production.

Were both cars in the same shot? Cause they could've just utilised the same location and killed two birds with one stone. Maybe we see them drive there in the flashback, and we also Bond drive down the same road later. Plus we never saw the V8 at the cabin although narratively it could just be parked elsewhere.

Also the V8 and the other car are in the same shot, wouldn't that mean that he couldn't be driving both so he's either in one or the other and my money would be on the V8. I'm just guessing to be honest haha :D

A lot to comment on and very little time. It's hard to keep up with the news. Some thoughts : 1)I'm happy with Lashana Lynch playing the "new" 007. I'm surprised there was not another 007 in SF actually. 2)I don't think YOLT will be as heavily featured as people seem to think here. In fact I think the movie will be somewhat lighter than the previous ones. I might be wrong. 3)I think Craig should not make a sixth Bond movie, although he looks great something got to give at some point, that said I would not be surprised if he makes another one if Bond 25 is a success.

Prince Charles: "He lied to me, that cheeky b*stard!"

But yeah, you mirror my own feelings there, @Ludovico.
I'm not sure it would be a good idea. In fact I tend to be against it. A Bond actor in his early 50s is the absolute limit imo.

And no V8. So I'm gonna stick by my theory. Yes, there's no snow but remember there wasn't actually any falling snow in the Norway filming from what I can see so maybe they drive from local town deep into the woods where there cabin is.

It makes no sense for Bond to be chasing after other cars in a mountain location that early in the movie, when we know that he is retired right after the Matera-scenes in the PCS.

No. 2/3's into the movie Bond gets his licence back or gets reinstated, then visits Q's lab with Moneypenny to aquire the V8, which he uses to tail/chase the Toyota to the place where the final showdown takes place, probably that castle in Scotland.

Or they could maybe CGI the crap out of that snow haha. The Bond films do have a tendency to change scenery. Spectre did it quite heavily and Skyfall had its moments.

Something that doesn't quite work regarding the flashback, if indeed it is a flashback : Back when Madeleine was a child, her father was in good terms with Blofeld. The Malek character would thus be sent by an enemy, or a rival group. Unless of course Blofeld was playing double blind for an unknown reason. It could also be possible that the Malek character switched sides as a result of the events. Or he could still be a competitor of Spectre, although I'd like this hypothesis a bit less.

    I think...
...it's meant to be a young Mr. White and his wife. It would explain why they've made the woman look like her, and more importantly it seems the little girl from the Norway sequence is in the back.

And no V8. So I'm gonna stick by my theory. Yes, there's no snow but remember there wasn't actually any falling snow in the Norway filming from what I can see so maybe they drive from local town deep into the woods where there cabin is.

    I'm with you.
There are videos of the V8 being overtaken by the toyota and the range rovers. It's the same sequence.
Oooo where can I find those videos? Would like to see them
You can find a few vids on YT by searching "Bond filming Norway."

EDIT: Never mind. Found an article and some pictures although I don't see a camera actually filming the sequence, and what is that blue thing.

The article suggests this was stunt driving practise.
