are they filming there scenes they wanted to shoot in Namibia (Africa) back in Boyle times? looks like.

Could be. Although it's most likely just going to be Italy. That region is known for its sulfur mines after all.

not exactly, but that's not a problem.
i mean, you all probably didn't noticed it, but during the Spectre Tiber chase the cars passed from one river side to the other without any bridge in between... so...

It appears they are also filming much norther, 1 hour from Rome circa, near Pomezia, in a protected nature environment in which we have the "Solfatara", a closed Sulfur Mine.
It seems to villages have been builded on the side of a mineralized lake

Researcher from hell strikes again :D

Red arrow = same lake with the fake village build at the near blue spot.

"After Matera, London, Norway and Greece, even the territory on the border between Rome and Pomezia would have entered the set of "No Time to Die", this is the official title of the new adventure of James Bond, starring Daniel Craig. The Solfatara, included in the Decima Malafede Natural Reserve: a sulfur mine dating back to the Roman era until the 1980s and characterized by unique colors and vegetation is the backdrop to the twenty-fifth film of the most famous secret agent of cinema. The Solfatara is even mentioned by Virgil in the Aeneid and by Pliny the Elder: saved from being transformed into a landfill, today it has remained uncontaminated to the present day.

Top secret on the scenes that will be shot in the former mine on Via Ardeatina: we know that two villages have been rebuilt on the banks of as many mineralized lakes that are located within the reserve.

In the cast, in addition to Daniel Craig (who will give the face to 007 for the last time) also Lea Seydoux, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear and Ralph Fiennes.

For now we have only a "tip" on the set and an indiscretion on the film to shoot. There are no official confirmations, nor denials."

Well that definitely hints at the DB5 still having its machine guns! :)

Does it? I guess they may have removed them to get to the gun mechanisms for some reason.

WOW, now we're talking. Check out the impact those rounds made in the Jag. Nicely done.

It's always cool to see the way these sequences are choreographed. It looks to me that there are two DB5s there, and they're using the architecture to hide the second car to be able to get clean shots without any digital trickery. Unless they actually have working pop up and down machine guns on the back of them, which is very possible of course! ;)

What if Bond has no option but to eject her for her own safety before the car gets destroyed? Perhaps it plays out that he thinks he’s responsible for her “death” or disappearance.

Yes, sounds very plausible. Just before it collapses on a roof.

Can the hatch come off without ejecting the seat? Could Swann knock the hatch out, and say Bond jump off a bridge, fall through some trees and land back in the car?

    "Spectacular shooting"

    From Sassilive

"From August 30th to September 12th 2019, on the Matera city hall, an ordinance of the local police sector will be in force regulating vehicular and pedestrian circulation in Piazza Duomo and Gradoni Duomo to allow some filming of the film "No time to die" with James Bond Matera. And after the American cemetery near the rock church of Madonna delle Vergini and the balcony build hotel in the area below Piazzetta Pascoli, Lotus Production chose Gradoni Duomo for the construction of another structure that will be used for a spectacular shooting of the film .

Once again, after the Calata Ridola set, the construction site's responsibility lies with Fabio Mazzilli, an engineer from Matera.

Lotus Production has asked to build a wooden ramp that will be used by a centaur for a reckless jump in Piazza Duomo. A recovery in line with the spectacular production dedicated to the saga of the 007 most famous and loved in the world.

The following are the first shots of the Gradoni Municipio works and the order of the local Police governing vehicular and pedestrian traffic in Piazza Duomo and Via Gradoni Duomo"

    gradoni-duomo-1.jpg

    Location looks like this.

    ZM9RxFU.png

Wooden stunt structure being built just beneath all the cars. Steps named Via Gradoni Duomo, left to right leading up to the cathedral/square:

Piazza Duomo, parking lot with a church named Matera Cathedral; Basilica Pontificia-Cattedrale di Maria Santissima della Bruna e Sant'Eustachio

Excellent. Love the sound of those tires.
  • This looks like an actual shot of the film, right? Not just a production photo.

When the camera pans to the very left, at the sound of the gun fire, a flock of sheep can be seen running off.

Cary Fukunaga is in Italy…….which means the main unit are back on location. His Instagram post suggest that ‘the actors’ are on set. So we should be getting set photos with Daniel Craig any second now……………

Also, saw this rumour on Twitter:

Can anyone suggest any Ed Sheeran songs with a Bondian sound? Always thought this song was beautiful:

The hatch has been there in the last few films (actually just a bit of black tape in the shape of a hatch!) so there's no guarantee it'll be used just because it's visible.

I've been told he will arrive on the 7th.

I doubt Craig would arrive on the 7th. Knives Out will debut at TIFF on the same day and Craig has already been confirmed to attend.

Craig will probably arrive to Matera straight from Toronto, perhaps the 9th.

In italian "centauro" is a way to say "biker".

There is the possibility this photo was not taken by himself. It looks like the shooting from last Sunday.
