Jeffrey Wright on ‘The Goldfinch,’ ‘Westworld’ and James Bond
    https://nytimes.com/2019/09/06/movies/jeffrey-wright-goldfinch.html

You’re also in the midst of reprising your role as the C.I.A. operative and Bond friend Felix Leiter in “No Time to Die.” What can we expect?

Well, I think it’s known that Felix pulls James back into the game and away we go from there.

Do you and Daniel Craig thrill crowds by hanging out together in New York?

I see him every once in a while, but not terribly often. Brooklyn’s a small place, but we’re at the same time both reasonably busy dad-like guys.

So who should be the next James Bond?

I have no opinion. I’m of the “love the one you’re with” idea when it comes to these things — but can we at the very least finish this one and deliver it to folks before we speculate on what’s happening in the future? [Laughs] First things first, baby.

Those last two lines. I love Jeffrey Wright.

I'll second that, when I heard they'd cast him as Felix I was delighted, he's a quality actor and is definitely the best Leiter for me, the coolest as well.

It will be shame not to see him in the role again, it's great that they've got him back for this one though.

+3 he should have done more .

Thanks @slyfox for the rapports, hope somebody can post your photos (my phone is too old for instal applications in it).

    😊👍
I went to the set again last night which was 99% packed up as they've finished the car scene there now. All that was left next to a wall was a load of sad and lonely watermelons that were in lots of pieces. A crew member confirmed they'd been "blown up" with explosives during the shootout! I suspected they would be as I had seen them on the back of one of those Italian tuk tuk type vehicles on the set the other day. It seems they were in the firing line.

Daniel Craig arrives today or tomorrow to film at the cemetery.

What about if the name on the grave is not Vesper... but Madeleine?

Any updates on that rumoured press conference and/or photo call? Is that still a probability or is Craig just jumping into filming today or tomorrow?

I'm at the Cathedral. Big bonfire ash laid out here again. Priest on set and a band with brass instruments have walked past. Guessing there will be a parade of some sort that the bike will interrupt. They are busy removing a Disabled parking space paint on the tiles. Drone being flown around. Sunny weather now but rain due in next few hours...

Don't if we've seen these three before. Gravina-set. Not much but still..

The Aston doesn't seem to care too much. And take a look at the henchman getting out of the car.

Can we trace the uploader somehow? Would like to have the original.

Hate all tracks, titles and crap people tend to play with. Blasphemy!!

Wow so the film opens in April....

    What’s in April? Easter.

Apparently the brush burning is an Italian tradition? So the whole sequence is set during Easter. I’d imagine there will be a parade and maybe a ton of extras on set. They digitally added most of the crowd for the Mexico scene in Spectre. Could easily do it again.

Seems like a tradition with the Craig Bond films.

CR- Originally opened at a sporting event with a crowd.

    QOS- Horse races big crowd.

    SF- Turkey big crowd

    SP- Mexico big crowd/parade

Maybe some random beautiful Bondgirl is named Bunny Easter, hitting on Bond in a bar or something. :D

So they are using ARRIFLEX with KODAK Stock 5207 250D for the negative it seems.

Ana would certainly fit that description.

Wasn't there some talk of Malek actually coming to Matera?

Maybe this is just for a press conference
but maybe Malek's villain features in the PTS but only briefly.

If this PTS is set say 5 years before straight after SPECTRE, maybe at this point Malek is lower down in the ranks of SPECTRE and will feature as one of the pursuers of Bond and Swann.

We'll get a brief glimpse of him in the PTS and in the years between there up to when the film picks up after the main titles (5 years). Malek has risen up the ranks and took over SPECTRE and is plotting a dastardly scheme that Bond gets pulled into.

We start with the GB hopefully, the iris opening up on the Norway ice cabin sequence and at the pivotal moment it cuts to Swann waking from a nightmare recalling this moment, bang we find out they are in Matera and this leads to the big action sequence possibly?

This is going to make the PTS possibly the longest of the DC era though.

Just spitballing really, I think we can pretty much say Matera is the PTS or can we ;)

With that accent she could read the Phonebook and I would enjoy listening.

Craig 100% won’t be in Matera today, he was already confirmed to be in attendance at TIFF in Toronto, CA for the premiere of Knives Out (which is tonight).

This is taking place outside the Cathedral when the bike makes the jump:
A funeral march with a brass band. Edit - It's a religious procession instead

    If there's a
    funeral march
going on while Bond is killing a bunch of people, i am demanding at least one pun or a one-liner! Lol

Correction. Not convinced it's a funeral. Seems more like an:
Easter procession outside the church. They are holding religious symbols including a large Madonna.

Linus is indeed there. Seen Chris Courbold too.

Bond stunt driver has a helmet with the dots on. Wearing the beige suit and blue shirt. Got it on video on my camera.
