  • Hmmm maybe the idea of
Bond having a child IS a possibility. That girl is clearly much younger than the one in the frozen lake scene, and could conceivably be under 5 years old...

New photo from the set with Nomi and a POTENTIALLY big spoiler
The first photo of the child that Nomi is trying to protect can be seen in this photo……………..it’s clearly a much younger child than the one we saw in Norway:

I can only imagine the ‘Madeleine is a clone’ crowd are running amok…………………………however, I think it can simply be explained that Rami Malek is experimenting on children.

It would make sense that the adversary is Spectre again, given what we know from SP, about them not being shy on hurting women and children.

We know White basically left the organization because of those kind of new attitudes, hurting women and children...

Thank you for making sense. But now, instead people will speculate that maybe Bond, Maddy, and Nomi are doing a time heist or something. 😅🤣

It's not nonsense, Torgeirtrap always argues his points respectfully as a fellow Bond fan like anyone else. A shame you dismiss his point of view like that.

Anyway, back to Nomi, that's an interesting development. I really hope it means Norway isn't a flashback.

How big is that spoiler? I'm debating looking at it.

Depends how you interpret the picture. We still don't have a certain idea of what it means.

    Just looked at it.
Could it merely be a hostage situation?Perhaps she is the daughter of the kidnapped scientist? I still reckon that the girl from the Norway PTS is Madeleine.

It’s been confirmed the PTS is in Norway?

Has anyone considered the child belonging to one of the crew? Or a background extra? It’s been known for stars and crew to bring their children to set.

I am beginning to suspect that the Norway scenes (10-15) are right after the main titles.

Is there a clapperboard for 10?

What is scene 1-10? Bond and Madeline en route to italy

I read the threads since Skyfall, but just now I've decided to write here cause I'm getting very entertained with NTTD's thread. Just as a quick introduction, I'm a advertising/music/content videos director at a production company here in Brazil. Sometimes I'm also DoP on some projects.

So, back to the thread, if the PTS happens before the so-called scenes "10-15" from Norway, it's possible that we are in for a more FRWL kind of pre-titles, a shorter, haunting scene that sets us right at the beggining to what kind of menace Bond will be facing this time - which is a type of opening more akin to what Nolan likes to do when setting very quickly the villains in TDK and TDKR.

That said, if the rumours (which I don't know when exactly started) about Porton Down scenes are true, that location could be easily a Pinewood set and a great way to inject mistery and set the mood.

IDK, but I'm very fond of a FRWL kind of PTS, I miss that...

From the aether, friend. It's all a game of Chinese whispers at this point.

Speculation. But I don't think that scene 1-15 (around 12-15 minutes) are scenes in and around the cabin.

Yes, I'm old school as well. I agree that the modern Bond films have too much action and not enough dialogue.

    Alright quick little rant here...

    I re-watched DN - SP.

I gotta said DC’s Bond has ZERO DIALOGUE.

It’s really bothering me. His character mainly utters one to two word replies when Connery, Lazenby and Moore talked in paragraphs.

Him and Brosnan seem in pain just to get two words out, what gives??

Also why are Swann and Bond even a thing? Let me break this down.

    CASINO ROYALE

Vesper and Bond are onscreen for around 70% of the film.

Train sequence is probably the most Bond’s character has ever interacted with another character in one scene.

They are constantly together for a majority of the film.

Bond is a rookie who is new to the game and it’s pretty believable that he would fall in love with Vesper and quit to be with her.

He gets betrayed and learns his lesson.

Overall they have enough scenes and dialogue to make it believable that they are truly in love.

    SPECTRE

Bond has his “interview” with Swann.

She gets kidnapped they have some quick little one word - two word exchanges and they are off to Africa.

Again more quick little banter, but not much.

She goes with him to Blofeld’s base.

Bond almost dies and she says she loves him?

They escape and she immediately tells him sorry it’s been real but this is too dangerous for me goodbye.

She gets kidnapped yet again, Bond saves her and now she’s back with Bond?

I mean maybe I’m crazy but not only do they have almost no dialogue compared to Vesper and Bond but why would he quit the service for her?

Yeah they slept together but Bond has slept with/hooked up with a lot of women from CR - SP.

    1) Solange

    2) Vesper

    3) Fields

    4) Random Greek girl

    5) Sex slave

    6) Most likely slept with Estrella.

    7) Messed around with Lucia

    8) Swann (slept with).

Sorry but this is driving me crazy. There’s just not enough in “SP” for me to believe Swann and Bond are in love and ran away together.

You're highlighting perfectly my issues with Bond and Madeleine's "romance" here, which isn't believable at all. You're also bringing up a very interesting point re. dialogue. Some of the best moments throughout the film series have been dialogue driven. We're not getting much of that anymore…

He almost feels like Jason Bourne.
Both are government assassins. Both hardly talk at all.

Bond is supposed to be lively and super chatty. Even Dalton talked more than Brosnan and Craig.

It really does look painful for Craig to even talk in a film like he has a hard time speaking. Brosnan had the same issue.

Yeah, this is the problem with these modern Bond films - hardly any dialogue and almost all just action. Sadly, they just don't make them like they used to. I look forward to a new Bond film but the excitement I used to harbour has diminished greatly over the years. Anyway, this is why, unless there is some solid character movement between these two, a wedding (if this happens) would look ridiculous. These days, the Bond film people's idea of character work is a mere few lines here and there followed by another action scene.

When you watch something like Skyfall, have you not noticed that there are almost no action scenes in it?
