Damn!
Thanks.
... with the next day being the kick off of the action we also saw being filmed in Scotland, which we know has been filmed during the day, unless those were just practise?
They looked Russian at least (don't have an image available right now). The Toyota on the other hand (or Toyota's rather) looks to have a number plate similar to Norwegian ones – it even has a red kind of sticker which very much looks like the road traffic insurance tax stickers used here in Norway up until 2012 (image below). There's one digit too much on the number plate though…
Edit: Here's a photo of one of the Range Rovers:
House during winter scenes with the girl/masked man and here during springtime I think. How the hell does this fit in the story? Minor time lapse? Flashacks?!
And where is the lake in the spring-photo? (Yeah I know, CGI)
Also, just thinking about it, Is the "White" family the most significant family in the James Bond franchise so far? Even Tracy and her father didn't get this much attention.
Dear Lord, my head will explode.. But yes, that would make sense if they return for some finale.
Craig will be hugely enthused to promote this, like he was with Skyfall, no slitting my type wrists comments this time round.
Says to me quite clearly, DC did not like SPECTRE the finished product.
Can't wait for the new rounds of interviews this time around. Craig really looks like he's enjoying himself. And what a nice fella he is. To everyone.
I've always got that impression too. Weren't there rumours him and Mendes argued a lot?
I've always taken him doing one more in the first place as potentially a sign that he wasn't pleased with SP. I think that it was clearly written as possibly Craig's last, they even talk in the leaks about it being Bond's last mission, and if it was more critically successful (or if Craig himself was happier with the finished product) then it probably would have been, but it wasn't so he came back for one more to go out on a high.
To be honest whatever is this can only excite me even more, which I didn't even think was possible. Everything I'm seeing I'm loving, and cannot wait for the trailer whenever it may arrive :)
Going by those snaps of her, and the pictures of Lashana in assault gear (assuming they're in the same location), I'm getting the sense this might be a "teamwork" finale?
I also wonder if there might be an MI6-assault in the vein of OHMSS.
I just wish we could get at least one look at Malek in filming. I think our first look at Silva was Bardem disguised as the cop in the Tennyson sequence? But I could be wrong.
Absolutely Fukunaga is to be credited for much of the positive energy.
Maybe I can find that scene on YouTube.
But I like the idea of a teamwork finale to bookend the Craig era, despite the amazing cinematography I wasn't a big fan of the Skyfall house raid climax, and the less I say about the Spectre climax, the better.
I genuinely can't wait for April. I don't need a trailer before watching the movie (but I'll watch it anyway) but man, I hope we get the first genuinely good last film for a Bond actor.
@leas_mole : Good job digging that back up.
TBH, I don't think anyone was happy with it when they began filming. They knew very well that the third act was a mess but were under pressure to start filming anyway. With NTTD, they learned their lesson: if they have to take an extra five months to get it right, then do so.
Unusual take, @Tuck91
I think the final acts of the first three are pretty damn solid. Even QoS, for all its script problems, has a good finale in the desert, juxtaposed with a denouement in the snow.
Personally I think this applies also to Casino Royale (the Venice bit drags for me) as well as Skyfall (Shanghai, Macau, and the Dead Island are absolute standouts of this film and it begins to drag as well at Skyfall Manor for me).
The tension in the scene where Bond and M are waiting ("I read your obituary of me" etc) and they hear the dogs barking, indicating the baddies are there, is great though.
EDIT: Sorry about the off topic but there isn't really a topic right now I feel until we get more news.
Young American director with an immigrant background and lots of fresh ideas. What the series has been crying out for for years. Look at the dead beat old has beens EON employed for so many years. Glad they've finally had the good sense to freshen things up. Here's to many more US directors in the future.
Nice to think PWBs script contributions may have also livened things up a bit too.
Gonna shoot in October at Pinewood. After Oct. it's a wrap for all actors.
Ah, someone with a fully functioning brain. Thanks @BMW_with_missiles. To read some of the replies you’d have thought I’d pissed on someone’s grandkids. We shall leave it there before any more people have a mental breakdown over this innocuous observation.
