Anyway, I'm not concerned about Craig's injury, which is being taken care of.
Also, I want to say clearly that I don't joke about the Me Too movement; it's important and was long overdue.
I just thought this thread was going to have less ... spam, ripping each other apart, snide comments about actors, wild exaggeration and negative spewing. But then again, I love Bond and I'm a born optimist. Somehow I think this film is still in good hands, will be delivered on time, and visually stunning.
I agree with you. It's easier to criticize than to create.
Yeah I totally agree with you too, I have no worries.
Thank God for that.
Agree. They made NH look terrible in much of SF and SP which is pretty difficult.
The rally legend has received a call relating to the new James Bond film.
Petter Solberg confirms this to ABC Nyheter.
- We'll see what happens, he says.
Here he might get the assignment of being a stunt driver in parts of the film's driving scenes. But Solberg still keeps the cards close to his chest.
- Nothing is confirmed, nothing. I've received a call, but nothing more than that, the rally driver tells ABC Nyheter.
- Is it something you'd like to do?
- That might be, but we'll have to wait until there's more confirmation around it*. Then we'll see what happens, and take it from there, Solberg tells.
*A bit tricky giving a good translation of that bit of the quote. The exact translation would be something like "…but we'll have to wait until it gets a little more proper around it." He's most likely been asked about his availability, and is probably just waiting for more confirmation about what he'll be doing on screen.

Solberg in action:

The Mail are putting their usual spin on it. However, he looks fine. However, the stubble growth pretty much confirms that Daniel has not been filming since 10 May.
I suspect there is a possibility that the 007 Twitter is slightly behind with the times as he had the operation a few weeks back and may be returning to set now or soon....
He still looks great!
Anyways Daniel is looking ready to start his comeback, maybe this will drive him on to make an even better movie, with all the work in preparation, then the injury and surgery who knows, might light a fire inside him to make this his best film yet
It certainly looks likely we'll get a car chase in Norway. Rauma is also rumoured as a potential location, so we might even see a car chase down Trollstigen.
Ana de Armas just posted a video on Instagram saying the following:
Seemingly hinting that she can reveal something about Bond 25. She evidently at work in Pinewood this week. Maybe she'll reveal the title on her Instagram.......................she has over 1m followers.
As far as an “ Intimacy Coordinator” that has nothing to do with performance or the quality of acting, it’s sole purpose can be summed up in a single word, liability. The studio, and powers that be, are covering their rears to head off an accusation of improper on set practices and want to be able to show that they made every effort to ensure a “safe” set.
Mmm, now I've seen the video. Probably not. Interesting that she is "training" and not "rehearsing".
It looks like it, good spot.
It sure looks like a neoprene jacket to me. Maybe the deep water tank at Pinewood is getting another workout?
Edit: the t-shirt underneath the jacket looks to be the same as the one in her next video and it seems like regular casual wear, so perhaps we're wrong about the neoprene.
Getting that Furka pass vibe!
I doubt it. I think any cast member leaking the title would get a severe telling off. Allowing cast members to leak key stuff/plot info would be an absolute no-no. Well, you'd think it would be prohibited but it's hard to stop people leaking if they're determined to do so!
Re Craig's injury and the new Daily Mail article - I assume worst case scenario would be Craig's injury takes longer to heal and Bond 25 is put back to a winter release. I'm sure that is feasible.
That's a different kind of action :))
=)) So my kind of sense of humour!!!! :-bd :))
I am REALLY excited about Norway shots! I've wanted Norway in a Bond film for years. This will be so exciting and lovely.
What's strange about this entire thing is, and anyone with more thorough knowledge on this can please kick me to the curb to explain:
From my understanding of ankle injuries, whether its ligament damage (as reported), or structural (bone cracks, breaks, fractures), one is on crutches for 4-6 weeks (a la Thomas Cruise) (and that's understandable as the ankle swallows so much of the skeletal weight above it; if that structure is damaged, it compromises the rest of the skeleton);
DC has certainly been seen by a specialist by now (as an A-list actor, shooting a film, the insurance company would have made sure this happened very quickly).
Whatever procedure would have been done by now.
But, as far as we can see from the pics, DC has no crutches and is seemingly walking by his own accord... Which leads me to ask: what did DC injure that he can pop back to Pinewood, seemingly bearing weight on both ankles/feet, within two weeks?
All I was told by a friend close to this production (the same who was able to verify accounts of Boyle, Jamaica and Malek)-- but this is going back two weeks: DC injured himself, they need the swelling to go down, and he'd be back on set in a week.
We know that didn't go as planned which means-- as others surmised-- swelling had to go down to diagnose properly, and no one was fully aware of a more serious issue.
BUT-- as far as I know, ligament and structural fractures, breaks and cracks have someone on crutches for 4-6 weeks. And it's obvious, at least from a few pics, DC is not on crutches... And he can weight bare...
Just an observation... (is there a doctor on board?)
