Gretel & Hansel. MGM talked it up during the investor call.
Oh ok.
Whoa! Is this official?
I don't think anyone is arguing that playing Bond isn't knackering.
I think the point is more that lots of other things are, too: being a school teacher, a bricklayer, a nurse, a truck driver . . . all those jobs are exhausting, and they don't pay a million bucks. They also don't involve a few years off between gigs, or the chance to travel around the world in top class, or your choice of well-paid side-gigs.
Make no mistake, Craig is my favourite Bond. But "this is such a hard job" is never going to garner much sympathy from a millionaire actor when he's talking to a room of regular slobs with actual hard jobs.
I do.
I think the other two unanswered questions are just as interesting. About Bond films being produced more often and a replacement for Craig. Its clear that the investers want more regular Bond films.
Given the amount of reconstructive surgery Craig has had during his run as Bond (hand, shoulder, knee, I believe) compared to those 'regular slobs' makes it a pretty hard job in my mind. Worth it? Definitely, but still hard. I agree that I doubt he's looking for sympathy.
Looking around the net a bit, he lost two teeth in Casino Royale, the tip of his finger in Quantum of Solace (as well as having the shoulder surgery), and the ankle surgery in NTTD. I think he mentioned more than that in interviews though.
I don't know. But I think it is not fan made. Eliot Sumner is linked to NTTD and posted pictures of her rehearsing for a cameo role at Pinewood. She's not known as an actress so far but as a musician.
His job is hard; not many people can actually do it. And when there are millions of dollars of other folks' money resting on you then I'm sure the stress levels are pretty high: higher than bricklaying, that's for sure. Yes he gets paid well, but: suck it up. Bricklayers don't work constantly for a year without a break, and they get paid pretty damned well, I can tell you. It's an actual hard -and very responsible- job. You don't have to be sympathetic and I doubt Craig is looking for you to be; it's just the truth of his situation. He doesn't want you to feel sorry for him.
I shouldn't have thought so.
Hmm, but why the crappy resolution then? I honestly can't tell if it is.
Paul Haggis liked it though, lol.
Wasn't Haggis involved earlier in the scripting stage - or am I just imagining that?
I had a feeling i've seen it before.
Maybe she made a mistake thinking it was official.
Yeah, it's been floating around under the No Time to Die hashtag. Definitely fan art, but still cool.
That's a pretty cool photo.
Not until February
I’ve never heard of them. 😏
New band, really cool sound. Expect great things from them.
Also, i should add that Daniel Craig's other movie, Knives Out will open next week in the US. Maybe the NTTD trailer will accompany that movie? Just wishful thinking right now. But December or January sounds about right.
Until then, I’m not expecting it to happen.
Recalls a familiar image of Fleming.
Looking forward to Christmas in February.
