I’ve seen every Bond film in the theater starting with CR and greatly enjoyed both CR and SF. That said, the theater experience did nothing to unseat the sublime VHS experiences that were GF, YOLT, LALD, TSWLM, OP, and others. If a film is great it should be able to stand on its own, no matter what medium you’re using to watch it.
So ones I really need to see on a big screen would be OHMSS, Moonraker and Daylights, maybe. My dream would be one of those Albert Hall concerts with the orchestra playing the music of either OHMSS or Moonraker! How cool would that be?
I think my favourite to see in a cinema would probably be Goldfinger. There's something about those moments of crackling silence you get with those older movies that are just wonderful in a cinema, do you know what I mean?
Thunderball I still remember as being surprisingly painful! The music in the chase at the junkanoo hits a repeated high whistle note, which when you hear it in a loud cinema is horribly deafening! :D
Seeing OHMSS with a full orchestra would be amazing.
Wouldn't it! I totally understand why they've been doing the Craig films for those concerts as they're the most popular right now, but I'd kill to see a proper Barry score being played; and for my money they're the two best ones (and to think: you could even actually finally get a recording of Moonraker!). But if they ever did a Barry, you know it would just be Goldfinger. Nothing wrong with that of course: it's brilliant, it just wouldn't be my dream choice.

Something a bit weird about all that though.. I get that there's an MI 7 clapperboard in there, but it doesn't look like a real movie sequence to me- there seem to be too many different things going on, and why would any of those be on a runway? And since when does Cruise wear a helmet? Are they sure it's not actually for Top Gear?

Yeah that's what I thought, and yet there are cameras... seems a bit weird all in all. Maybe they're practising with the rigs or something but I don't know.
The helicopter which the dumb Mail thinks is part of the sequence I suspect is actually just Cruise's lift to get there! :)
Could be just practice that they filmed to watch back and see where they need to change things up and how it looks on camera. Cruise doesn’t seem to be in character.
