One would wish. Also, wouldn't it be lovely if Bond encountered a giant squid down there somewhere? ;)
I had convinced myself I was going to be a good boy and not go to the cinema. But damn. I want this as big and as soon as possible.
Is there a possibility the movie will get a second cinematic release when more people can actually go to the cinema?
Maybe Safin will turn into one. ;-)
:D
Ours are trending downward and theaters are now open. The most telling stat: COVID patients in the ICU. This number right now is the lowest it's been since April.
But yes: I would cross state lines to see this movie. LOL
However, we also get a few new scenes from Safin's lair, as well as extended bits of the existing footage. In particular, one of the existing bits has caught my eye.
Particularly, the scientist.
The guy that Nomi kicks in the face was unknown before today - we couldn't see him properly. But now with this image, we can somewhat see that this is Valdo.
So what has he done to warrant such a demeanor change in Nomi? Could he have been potentially working with Safin the whole time? Or was he a wanted character the whole time, and Nomi loses him in Jamaica (possibly due to Bond's actions?)
DEFINITELY Garden of Death ;) everything looks fantastic. I’m truly, deeply excited for this film.
One question I have, having watched SP recently, the part where they allude to Blofeld having gone to Madeleines home, and her having been required to defend herself; is it possible Safin was also in attendance and this scene is the one shown in the Scandinavian location? Then he returns at a later point in time when she’s older?
We're not sure about that one yet - we've been trying to figure it out since the previous trailer with a few compelling arguments as to whether it's young Madeleine or another girl in that sequence. The Safin-Madeleine connection has been confirmed beyond all doubt now, though!
I am not sure it was Blofeld. Madeleine alludes to shooting the intruder, because she knew there was a gun kept behind the bleach. Now, I assumed back then that this meant she killed the guy, so I never made the connection to Blofeld.
Lol, Does anyone else think Ned Starkk when he says that line about “nothing left to save? “😉
Proper gravitas! Love the Faroe Islands too. Agreed it’s got to be the Garden of Death set up.
His only words were it’s a seriously long movie, and you’ve only seen a total of six minutes from the two trailers. There’s a hell of a lot they haven’t even touched on that’s in the final cut.
Same, thought Blofeld's "oh, but I do [remember about you]" seemed to imply that there had been something more with their encounter. We'll find out in two months, I guess. I wonder if Mr White will appear.
Had someone point this out on a Bond discord but no evidence yet to back it up.
That's about as much evidence as I think we're going to get for the time being.
Yes we have but I don't remember it now. Some composer and/or music historian and the book came out 1989 or something like that
