I go to an ordinary cinema in a big city, but people behave differently :)
So nothing's been done to further the next era, as I feared. Shame. This pandemic time could be time well spent.

Total Film's Bond issue will be on sale this friday, and I'm gonna find a pdf asap the same day unless someone else in here beats me to it. Subscribers already have their copy but taking photo of a magazine is useless.
Any time BB speaks of DC, I am reminded of just how hard she is crushing on him. LOL
It’s also so that after NTTD comes out they can evaluate from the performance of that film to determine what they can do with the next. It doesn’t surprise me at all that they’re waiting for the dust to settle on NTTD before entertaining the idea of a Bond 26.
And honestly, I’m not going to act childishly impatient like many other fans who just want EON to churn these out like it was a sausage factory back in the Cubby/Harry days. I don’t care how long it takes, so long as we get Bond films at all.
With so many people reevaluating their lives and careers at the moment, even if they had someone in mind now, doesn't mean they will still be interested or acting come time for B26 production.
You know for be HONEST, not lying to the fans/people when she say something, and to give Bond fans some news after the delay (to say that the time "lost" was not lost).
@Red_Snow makes a good point. EON will want people thinking of the immediate next film, not what’s beyond it. What happens after NTTD will come out afterwards.
I've never ever been to a cinema where there is staff members delivering food to you – but food in general at cinemas really bugs me. It never stops surprising me how damn loud people eat.
Because of all the downsides going to the cinema, I hardly feel it's even worth the ticket prices, which are too expensive, IMO. I only justify going there if it's part of an evening out. And as you mention, @Creasy47 – a lot of the releases these past few years have been really mediocre anyway.
Mission Impossible franchise 2015-22: Four movies
The Bond franchise: Two
It’s not a competition.
Indeed. I hope the next era can return to delivering a film every two to three years on a consistent basis.
True, but 95-2015 is a different score:
Bond: 8 movies
MI: 5 movies
If it’s anything like the Brosnan films, I can wait longer.
I wasn't saying it is. But we are facing only two Bond movies released in 11-12 years (!). That's simply not good enough.
Oh well.
3 years should be the maximum.
Not much reason to stretch beyond three years if you're planning and developing properly.
Incredible! You'd think that the staff would make sure to follow their own rules…
Toy Story 1995
Toy Story 2 1999
Toy Story 3 2010
Toy Story 4 2019
Four films in 25 years. Pixar sucks.
Ok so Bond 26 in 2030 with an unfinished script.
Don’t even get me started on the Schindler’s list franchise!
