When do you think it will get released Donny ?
I tend to agree with him. Pushed to November 2021.
Yes, until the cinemas open again ?
Even then, they will have no balls to realease it (let's remember that Tenet was the ONLY blockbuster that was realease since march, even when cinemas were open in Europe there was no other big filmd).
Still it takes at least a year until everyone who wants the vaccine gets it.
Casino Royale vibes..

I don't know if it is the same vaccine, there are several being developed at the same time. And I said the chances are looking up, it hasn't passed all of the tests yet; there's still a way to go. But here in the UK it is possible, if all goes well, that we may see it out there at the beginning of the year.
And the narrative a week ago you'll remember was the President saying "on November 4th you won't hear about COVID again" so I think that's rather been discredited. Especially as we then heard about the Chief of Staff getting it :D With people who take it seriously in charge there would seem to be more hope than just a few days ago that a corner might be turned and allow this film to release.
Ha! Oh dear, I wonder if we'll get a 'Any similarity to persons with the name Zorin' situation again before the gunbarrel? :))
The Pfizer vaccine, as I understand it, would not take that long. Interestingly, it is a two-dose vaccine.

And had Pfizer not delayed this annoucement until after the election, we'd have all found out about these trials long before November 4th. I think the point Trump was making was that the virus would no longer be used as a political tug-of-war tool by the media. And you must also remember that Kamala Harris herself said that she wouldn't take a COVID vaccine just on Trump's say-so. I'm merely pointing out the open hypocrisy of suddenly claiming the vaccine, which came from Operation Warp Speed, is now in better hands when the "new admin" themselves did the most to bring the vaccines into disrepute.
My other point is, I don't believe the "new admin" will want to relinquish its authoritarian control over people's lives, meaning we won't be seeing a fast roll-out of this vaccine. I think the roll-out could be more controlled and slower.
With regards to the movie's release, I don't believe it's going to be as straightforward as you paint it. I don't think people will be hugging each other in the streets, singing Kumbaya and flocking to the cinemas anytime soon. We don't even know whether these black bloc demonstrators will be targeting cinemas in future, as they're still continuing to target restaurants after the election.
Scientists develop vaccines. Not presidents. And "Operation Warp Speed" was nothing more than a marketing tool--in fact, Pfizer was not part of Operation Warp Speed, at least not in accepting funding. The current administration has its head up its rear in terms of science and in terms of leadership. The testing disaster in the U.S. right now is proof positive. So, yes, the Biden presidency will no doubt be far more effective at getting vaccines out to everyone.
Pfizer didn't join Warp Speed in as much they weren't funded by it as its competitors were- the German government mostly funded it. It has taken orders for the vaccine from Warp Speed, just as it has around the world. The UK Govt had ordered 40 million, Warp Speed 100 million.
Warp Speed nor any other initiative would be banking on just one vaccine, no. There are many others under development.
They can only reveal things when they're ready to reveal, not everything is a conspiracy. You have to understand that allegations without any kind of proof or basis in anything beyond 'that makes us look bad' are not fact, and that goes for fraud or whatever else. Think about who is making the allegations, whether they can prove it, and what they stand to gain by them.
Whatever point Trump was making was clearly wrong because here we are talking about it right now, and also an attempt to downplay its importance because his response was dreadful.
They brought attention on his mishandling of the response, yes. It's not hypocrisy to actually do a better job. Harris was talking about taking a potential vaccine which Trump would have rushed out before the election: she was talking about how he would seek to use it as a political election tool rather than for actual public safety. The Trump team's allegations about Pfizer intentionally denying them that win would seem to confirm what she was saying.
You seem to be thinking that someone is saying this vaccine will definitely succeed - no-one is; it's just a hopeful sign but there's a way to go.
Uh-huh. 8-|
You're reading something I didn't write. Go back and read it again.
I don't think conspiracy theories get us anywhere.
I don't think we're gonna end up with a streaming service because as we've already seen, MGM would want a big cheque for that to be made possible, and neither Apple or Netflix want to pay that.
Bond Co: Here are some literal gold bars for Bond fans.
Yeah I can't see it going streaming right now, I think it's more likely cinemas will open up in some way.
TBH it's hard for me to imagine theatres opening up, in such a way that NTTD can make it's money back, in the foreseeable future.
There will be theatres open no doubt, but they're gonna have to get creative in some way with NTTD to make back their money.
As a person who also would like to be around to see Bond 26, etc., I hope they'll let me wear a HazMat suit, with a spaceman helmet for better visibility, and mega-filters -- and THAT's assuming that by the time the film gets released I get shot up with every Vaccine that's then out !!! Had I the $$$, I'd rent the theater, and have a super-duper nuclear cleaning crew go in ahead of time. Bring popcorn and beverage in vacuum sealed containers ! It would be so appropriate ! NTTD evokes, at the very least, Dr. No, so I'd be sitting there dressed like both Bond and Dr. Julius were in the climax !!! (Hoping for Bond's ending...ahem...boat, or no boat, and not that of the bad doctor)
Oh, well. The big screen in the living room can be updated, right ? to one of those 8-footers, with a Big, Thumpin' sound system. It'll help me enjoy TENET, too. I missed out on seeing that one in a theater, and C Nolan's last few films definitely were made for Imax-in'. Not to mention getting a VR headset for an immersive experience.
From the swipe: this is the closest we get to a new NTTD still. Haven't seen any smiling stills with Craig in the woods. And those cool grenades?
Update:
