Oh yes! Can't wait to see how that one turns out. Or is it for display only?
That Tosca DVD... is the performance close to the film version? I'd thought about buying it at some point. I take it's PAL.
Curious-looking DVD case too.
In the meantime, third cinema viewing of Skyfall 'done'. Ticket shown with one of Q's two ID tags, this version was on display at the exhibits Lego Creator in Leicester Square and Spyscape in NY.

Yes, bit of a pulp fiction feel!
I don't think we've ever known Q's first name, no matter who's played the part. Even Fleming never gave a first name, did he?
In the Fleming books, is it possible Major Boothroyd only appeared in Dr. No? Yes, and no first name, true.
For the films, there is the non-Eon Never Say Never Again, and Alec McCowen referred to fondly as Algernon/Algy by OO7. Otherwise, no.
Regarding Ben Whishaw's Q, I see him as unique to the times and with no connection to military service. Though I'm enjoying him greatly and a service background is welcome for future incarnations.
And lastly, it wouldn't be wrong to revert to the real world inspiration for the character Geoffrey Boothroyd, who corrected and informed Fleming.
Like this one.
I also just stumbled on a headline from an old (2015) article from the Telegraph reporting Ben Whishaw said his grandfather was a British spy with a double identity in WWII.
And ironic how Fleming "wanted Bond to be an extremely dull, uninteresting man to whom things happened; I wanted him to be a blunt instrument.." when those first two adjectives are the antithesis of what he's become.
I love the Tiger invitation! I remember the buzz around the Tiger at the time - I saw it on static display at an air show in 1994 or 1995, and snagged a Tiger-themed sun visor and one of those fuzzy bugs with the google eyes, both long gone alas.
Did you attend both?
I was at the helicopter demo, but only after some gratuitous sex and violence.
"So, 007... Lots to be done. Are you ready to get back to work?"
Bond's MI6 dossier seen at the end of the film:
Will we ever know what was inside the envelope?
"Get these analyzed. For her eyes only."
Depleted uranium bullet fragments in bio hazard evidence bag. Cost very little to make this.
The shrapnel here is shaped from tin:
"I'd like to cash this in, please."
Macau chip - finished this one last weekend. Simple version, but really happy with how it turned out.
Group shot:
I was thinking about fraud.

The criminal branch is always superior. It has to be.
Unfortunately I misjudged you. You are just a stupid policeman whose luck has run out.
