Cheers, @Creasy47, and happy anniversary to you. I remember coming on around the same time as you in July 2011, and since then you've consistently been one of my best friends on here. Many thanks for your continued friendship and support, mate. It's not MI6 without you! :)>-
@Creasy47, i've hovered over your join date, and it says July 8th 2011. So congrats on your 5th anniversary too.
Five years in before I figure out you can hover over the join date to see the exact date and time...
HA HA HA!!
For once I feel young and I am "the kid" for a change :)) amongst you two elderly :))
It's my 1st birthday this month. I think I joined around the 15th of July last year.
I do have to say it feels much longer though.
And in this case you're a July baby like @Creasy47 and myself. It seems the prime time to join the forum, when summer has settled in and time is afforded for online conversation.
Just checked: You joined at July 11th, 10:21 AM.
Mine's July 10th 2011 at 3:10 AM.
Are you a July baby @Thunderfinger?
Not sure how many original members are left.
I am not super active anymore but I do post every now and then.
Quite a milestone ;)
10 years WOW and already 198 posts!!
I'm only at 5.208 after one year :))
Believe it or not! On the old forums I had around 8K-10K posts..
I was super active on the old forums. For whatever reason once we got a new site and I lost my post count I kinda stopped coming on here.
Also lost a lot of friends and people I talked to on a regular basis. It's sad, there are still a few originals on here but it has never been quite the same for me unfortunately. Thanks though and congrats on your incredibly high post count! ;)
I will do mate cheers, I always book several days off so ill have plenty @-)
Since having an internet connection, I have been a member/moderator of a number of different forums. But while some just didn't have the community that MI6 has, and others just ran out of steam and closed down, MI6 is still going strong. This is still the first place I go to when I get online.
Let's have a drink to celebrate...
It's great to have a veteran fan like yourself around to steer the old lady MI6 ship, and always has been. I also give credit to you and a few others for getting me into the Dalton films and helping me to see how special they are when I first joined as a far less seasoned fan, and now all those years later Dalton sits pretty at #3 in my ranking of the best Bonds (or #2 if I can let Dan and Sean tie for first). :)>-
Now that i'm thinking about it, it was more like 2002-2003 when I stumbled across MI6, as DAD had already been released by then.
Oh thank God. I'm waiting for that since age 1 and I'll be 42 on September 28th :)
