    Mie Hama, who played, Kissy in YOLT never got a really good handle on English, so they were going to can her. She got wind of this threatened to commit suicide if she were let go. So they kept her.

    AVTAK: A Worker left His/her window open one night during filming at city hall. Unfortunately for them it was the night when the "fire" took place. So they had a wet desk the next morning. #-O

    During the mine scene when bond leads may day out of the mine, No one told Grace Jones about the sparking effects. so all the screams are genuine.

    Still on AVTAK: Zorin's San Fransisco 'Main Strike' mine was actually filmed at Amberley Chalk Pits in West Sussex (I know because I've been there).

    In Christopher Wood's original MR screenplay the character of Corinne Dufour was named Trudi Parker. When Corinne Clery landed the role, they changed her character's name although in Wood's MR novelization, the character is called Trudi Parker as originally intended.

    When rebuilding the 007 stage for the first time they couldn't build the set inside the stage when it was being built as it still counts as a renovation reconstructing a building thats burnt completely to the ground

    Another Thunderball cameo for you: Dana Broccoli can be seen, though it's very difficult to spot her, dancing as a background extra in the scene where Bond dines and dances with Domino.

    Still on that Nassau club, the gambling table that Bond riles Largo on is the same one used for the scene in DN when Bond meets Sylvia Trench.

    Richard Johnson was Bond director Terence Young's first pick for the role of Bond. However, he turned the role down because he did not want to commit to a multi-picture contract. 5 years later, he played a very Bondian updating of Sapper's detective hero Bulldog Drummond in the 007 spinoff film "Deadlier Than The Male."

    In OP 009 was actually played by two separate people, Stuntman Andy Bradford (who also portrayed one of Kristatos's guards who gets shot by Melina's crossbow on St. Cyril's) spent two weeks near Checkpoint Charlie in West Berlin being chased by Mishca and Grischka but then went to on to work on 'The Keep' and was unable to return to the production to re-create 009's fall through the British ambassador's East German office window, this scene was completed with another stuntman.

    I believe that Bond has only ever been rained on once in the films and that's in CR.

    Useless Bond trivia is it?

    Don't know if it's been mentioned but Miss Magda (Kristina Wayborn) had could what be the greatest fall of the franchise, i.e. her 'well I don't know how to say goodbye' to Moore and stealing the Faberge egg on the balcony in India was actually filmed at Pinewood Studios, UK and when she dropped to the ground and gave it to Kamal Khan the filming location was done back in India

    Why they didn't do the whole thing in one go where they were is a mystery, but there you are

    Christopher Nolan's favorite Bond film is OHMSS.

    I suspect that is what influenced the Inception snow scenes.

    I don't believe we've ever seen him actually get rained on, except in CR, the others we only see the rain without him actually being in it.

    Sorry for the double post just remembered another one.

    All the Bond actors left the role on their own terms except Brosnan. He was let go because he was too old to play a newly made 00 Agent in CR.

    For filming the scene in Venice where Bond's gondola (It's not even a Q boat), turns into a hovercraft and goes on land in Moonraker, they failed four times with Moore falling into the water each time due to the unstability of the craft, and had to replace his suit for each take after getting wet. It was only on the fifth attempt it was successful, and just as well, as they had no more suits available

    The original title of Tomorrow Never Dies was Tomorrow Never Lies. It was altered by accident and was kept because it sounded more Bondian.

    Either way, it's a damn silly Title isn't it. , It isn't even taken from an original Fleming source either. 'Tomorrow Never Dies', or 'Tomorrow never Lies', what's that all about then, it simply doesn't make any rational sense. About as silly a Bond movie title since 'A View to a Kill', most likely

    Next trivia- When Truman Lodge tells Sanchez 'This set up cost us $32,000,000' as Bond causes the fire at the cocaine factory, it was in actual reference to the films budget for that release, which was in fact- $32,000,000
