    RIP to the original Ra’s al Ghul from Batman the Animated Series. Great sounding voice. Just 4 days shy of his 81st birthday.

    R.I.P. David Warner, a great actor. Too many roles to mention, always gave a solid performance! Usually a supporting player, but he was terrific in Nicholas Meyers 'Time After Time' with Malcolm McDowell!

    Dam I am a big fan of the actor, David starred in two Star Trek movies. My earliest memories of Warner were from The Omen and Tron.

    David Warner had a few connections to Bond, he appeared in Spymaker: The Secret Life of Ian Fleming with Jason Connery and also starred in an episode of Remington Steele with PB. I cannot remember if David Warner shared a seen with Sir Sean in Time Bandits, its been a while since I watched it.

    Oh no, not David Warner. There are two projects that I will remember him for, his ole in The Omen (the best horror movie of all time / best cast assembled for a horror movie), and of course his work as the alternative 3rd Doctor for Big Finish, as part of their Doctor Who: Unbound range).

    He even had his own arrangement of the Doctor Who theme.



    If the anniversary episode hasn't yet been filmed, with the talk of multiverses of late, I want them to work in a cheeky litttle reference to The Doctor being in Hong Kong on the eve of the handover, in reference to Warners alternate 3rd Doctor.

    RIP Mr. Warner. The Omen is one of the most effective horror films I've ever seen, totally unnerving, and he's fantastic in it.

    I discovered it when I was in film school after reading an article on one of its anniversaries, sought it out on VHS and have been a fan ever since. I'd long heard about the famous diner scene, but it went so much deeper than that. I bought the Criterion Collection Blu-ray when it came out and it is a prized film in my collection.

    Also sad to hear about David Warner. Although usually typed as a villainous character, his role as the photographer trying to help Gregory Peck in The Omen was always one of my favorite roles of his as he tried to level Peck's character to the truth of Damien. That scene in the graveyard at night as they try to discover the truth about Damien's mother is still one of the most frightening for me.

    RIP David Warner. He was great in The Omen and Time After Time. His portrayal of Jack the Ripper in the latter film is terrific. He comes across as a man who embraced his dark nature because he had no choice, but at the same time is so very tired of it.

    I was just thinking of David Warner recently. Great actor with a distinct look, voice, and manner. He graced many delightful B-horror pictures and of course was a sublime Ra's. May he rest in peace and live on in his films.

    I just remembered David Warner was also the professor in that Ninja Turtles movie, and the doctor listening to Sam Neill in In the Mouth of Madness.

    he sgd my 4 pack also sgd by his TAS daughter Talia (Helen Slater) and Ras creator Neal Adams.....told me hed never seen the shows he did , RIP

    David Warner was also a terrific classical actor. His very best performance might be Henry VI in The Wars of the Roses, the televised version (now on DVD) of a theatrical super-production of Shakespeare's first cycle of history plays. Warner is very moving as the king and shows he could play heroes every bit as well as villains.

    Sad to hear of the death of our former Northern Ireland First Minister and Ulster Unionist Party Leader David Trimble, now Lord Trimble, aged 77. He did a lot to bring peace to Northern Ireland and was one of the main architects of the Belfast Good Friday Agreement that restored power-sharing government to the country.
