Sounds like the Tanya Roberts situation of January 2021 all over again.
Yes it does. Tanya Roberts , Tom Petty and now Tony Dow.
Forgot about Tom Petty. I liked his music. Was his death announced too early too?
Yes,I believe by about a day.
Ah, I see. The same as Tanya Roberts then. I either missed that at the time or had forgotten about it.

:( I recently watched an epidose of ADAM 12 he appeared in. He looked just like Wally only with a different haircut. Did a lot of other television work, MIKE HAMMER, KNIGHT RIDER, etc.
RIP.
That's sad. Just like Tanya Roberts. 😔
A stalwart of British TV and film. Featured in a small role in CR'67 along with numerous others, The Railway Children, Jackanory, The Wombles to name a few.
RIP.
Bernard Cribbins is a true legend I first saw him in Doctor Who along side Peter Cushing and CR 67. Great actor and a genuine national treasure, Bernard is appearing in the Doctor Who 60th Anniversary I am sure there will be a special tribute to him. Sad loss though he had a long life. R. I. P.
He had a long career, could turn up in lots of British movies. Only recently watched him in 'Two Way Stretch' with the great Peter Sellers, and I loved him in 'The Railway Children', but I will always associate him with being the narrator of The Wombles! Wombling free indeed!
He was 14. My late girlfriend had shipped him from Scotland to the US so he could be with us. He was my best friend for 8 years.
I always said that being from Sean Connery's homeland he had abetter chance of being cast as Bond than me. He was amazing. I love you, little buddy.
Um, Vince is horrible:

I wish you warm regards. It is hard to lose a pet, family related or not. Know that we are here for you in supporting you in this tough time.
Thanks again. I'm feeling a little better.
I'm sorry for the loss of your cat, @ToTheRight. I've had similar feelings every umpteen years or so for the last forty years. But except for an attempt at kicking the habit from 1997 to 2002, me and my wife had cats ever since we were together. The last time we had to let go because our cats were irretrievably sick, we lived all but five days without felines. And then we went to the closest shelter and got two new lovely ones. Which - as all cats before them - immediately became our latest favorite pets - no harm intended for the previous contenders. Cheer up, there's one (or maybe two) felines somewhere close just dying to be with you. Don't let it bring you down. Cats just have a shorter life span than humans (though on the average longer than dogs), and 14 years is quite a spell. One has to face it.
Thanks, @j_w_pepper. I do have 2 felines left. My dearly departed girlfriend enjoyed adopting rescued ferals that had disabilities. Ones that no one else took int theor homes.
Both of these cats have only one eye that functions properly. SKYE had an injury- perhaps someone had slammed a door into her face paralyzing her left side- and Squeaky has her left eye clouded up. If she had been a male cat I'd have suggested Le Chiffre for a name (and have probably been vetoed). They both seem baffled as to Earl's absense. They're adorable.
My doggo passed away last year, and though I have since gotten another doggo (which I didn't intend on doing), I still miss him.
I'm so sorry to read about your cat, my good friend. Cats can be such good and warm friends. I've lost many cats in my life and it never stops hurting.
Thanks for the kind words.
