    Daniel Craig

For me the most difficult part was to rate Craig´s films. I love Skyfall and Spectre is SO BLOODY GOOD. In the future it may well be Spectre but now I go with CR as it simply is a true masterpiece.

Guess I need to make quite an admission here on such a forum as this, I struggle to get excited about watching Sean's films these days - I need to get into the right mindset to sit and watch them yet have no trouble with other Bonds. catch one of them on the TV and I'll happily stay and watch them through Maybe it's just because I've overwatched all of SC's Bonds way way too many times.

SC Best: TB - Gripping story, great score, gorgeous female lead tolerable SC
SC Worst: DAF - I find watching this very challenging than any other Bond. Painful

GL Best: OHMSS - best of the lot and I can never tie of watching it. My No1 Blofeld, Bond girl, score oh yes, what a score
GL Worst: Haha - so he never made a bad Bond film!? Nope. We'll never know the what if's and the 'could have beens'

RM Best: TSWLM - my first Bond in the cinema. Love this story: the action, scale, score and RM is properly active - a truly epic Bond and in my top tier of Bond favourites
RM Worst: OP - this always felt weak and I was very underwhelmed by it at first but I've turned around the negativity and now like it more and more. Still my weakest RM Bond though

TD Best: TLD - amazing Bond interpretation by Dalton, glorious soundtrack, yes weak villains but a real Bond romp.
TD Worst: Well this leaves LTK - still a bloody good darker Bond and the action sequences are so well done

PB Best: GE - I can always get a buzz watching this and love how well it plays out throughout 'til the final fight scene with SB
PB Worst: TWINE - it's so forgettable and... for the life of me what am I trying to talk about? Not even DAD is this vanilla

DC Best: Tie between SP and CR : I like these both equally although I'm actually erring towards SP
DC Worst: SF - I just never 'got' this film and as nice as it is to look at it does absolutely nothing for me with action, plot, score and character motivations/actions

I find it far easier to rate and order films from the same actor than between different Bond actors.

    SC
    1: TB
    2: DN
    3: GF
    4: FRWL
    5: YOLT
    6: DAF

    GL
    OHMSS

    RM
    1: TSWLM
    2: AVTAK
    3: FYEO
    4: MR
    5: LALD
    6: TMWTGG
    7: OP

    TD
    1: TLD
    2: LTK

    PB
    1: GE
    2: TND
    3: DAD
    4: TWINE

    DC
    1: SP
    2: CR
    3: QOS
    4: SF

(BF Bond25 is eagerly awaited to be the next DC No1)

Can I just say, many of these could be equal ties and dependent on the mood be different this time tomorrow!!

Ok, I'll play along. Without having seen SP, I'd say...

    Connery
Best - FRWL - Quite possibly the best Bond film of all time.
Worst - YOLT - It's not awful but it's rather boring for long stretches of time.

    Moore
Best - TSWLM - Outstanding. Moore's finest hour.
Worst - TMWTGG - Extremely underwhelming. A real missed opportunity.

    Dalton
Best - TLD - A good to very good watch, depending on my mood.
Worst - LTK - Pretty terrible on the whole despite a few nice bits.

    Brosnan
Best - GE - None of his other films come close for me.
Worst - DAD - The absolute worst of the worst.

    Craig
Best - CR - Still amazing. Doubt SP can top it.
Worst - QoS - By far the "best" of the worst though.

Great thread. I like the fact people are putting best and worst. Here's mine

    Sean Connery
Best: From Russia With Love (best of the series - never to be beaten)
worst: DAF - Hamilton, enough said!

    George Lazenby
Best: On Her Majesty's Secret Service - obviously

    Roger Moore
    Best: For Your Eyes Only
worst: Moonraker/A View To A Kill

    Timothy Dalton
Best: The Living Daylights (closely followed by Licence To Kill - no worst)

    Pierce Brosnan
    Best: Tomorrow Never Dies
worst: Die Another Day - who would have guessed?!

    Daniel Craig
    Best: Casino Royale (still)
    worst: Quantum of Solace

Top 2 Bond's are FRWL and OHMSS - two perfect Bond films.

Connery's best is Goldfinger, but the best Bond movie featuring Connery is in my opinion, From Russia With Love. His worst is undoubtedly DAF, which isn't really his fault but the directing and the direction the series went after is such a shame. We're kind of fortunate that Roger Moore could actually keep up and work in tandem with the camp, otherwise I doubt Bond would've survived the 70's.

Lazenby only had one, so obviously it's OHMSS.

Roger's best is undoubtedly TSWLM, which I know people here think is overrated, but I personally think it's the best Bond film. It just has everything. His worst is TWMWTGG, which is the opposite - a massive spillage of potential, IMO. A couple of redeeming factors but more of a guilty pleasure than a genuine success.

Dalton's best is Licence to Kill, only because it doesn't drag and has access to far better villains than The Living Daylights, but I still reckon that's a great movie too.

Brosnan's best will always be GoldenEye for me. It was the first one I saw in cinema and it was huge for me, as well as just a great movie. TND was also good and fun, but DAD is his worst - a shockingly low point of the Bond series.

Craig's best is always going to be Casino Royale, in my opinion. Not only was it a masterpiece of cinema, but it was also the biggest Bond milestone since Dr No, in my opinion. It literally reinvented the franchise. His worst is the disappointing follow-up to that, QoS.

I'm surprised this hasn't been done before, but seeing as Google Search turned up with nothing, here's a thread for you to post:

    1. What was the best Bond flick from each EON Bond actor?

    2. Which Bond flick had each respective Bond actor's best performance?

As he only made one EON film, Lazenby is obviously excluded. You can mention NSNA for Connery, but I doubt anybody will. Hopefully this thread will open up what we think is ideal for a Bond actor's performance and how much that ends up mattering towards the final quality of the film.
