Nice, @Octopussy, we’re right on. @JamesCraig, we’re nearly the same. While I do slightly prefer TLD, I still love TLK.
Good to see so much love for TB! ^:)^
Moore: The Spy Who Loved Me
Dalton: The Living Daylights
Brosnan: GoldenEye
Craig: Casino Royale
Woah! Interesting that my favorites are almost all each actors' first Bond film - even TSWLM was the first Bond film produced without Harry Saltzman, so kind of a first film even in a way.
There's a lot to love.
Absolutely. \m/
I feel like Thunderball is just a highlight reel of a film with Connery at his absolute peak.
Couple this with Terence Young directing, arguably the man who created cinematic Bond, breathtaking cinematography and John Barry, it's a killer combination. I also love that we see Bond in a more casual environment, rather then in a suit all the time.

OHMSS.
Live And Let Die.
The Living Daylights.
GoldenEye.
Skyfall.
It has fluctuated between 2-6 for me for decades. Would be #1 easily with about 10 minutes of underwater-scene editing.

The only recent change for me was GF - > TB
I agree that it is Connery at his arrogant best. From hitting the alarm with his elbow to boldly antagonizing Largo (despite no logical benefit to do so) to throwing the "little fish" back with a warning to Largo to all of the casual dismissals of Fearing's final advances.
Moore: The Spy Who Loved Me
Dalton: The Living Daylights
Brosnan: GoldenEye
Craig: Casino Royale
Well, I never noticed it. I used to be sparse with my comments of TB being better than GF. Those days are over. ;)
I'm not forcing you. ;) ;))
:D
We cool. :)>-
Friend, TB is not just simply loved, it's adored. It was the height of Bondmania during the franchise's most fruitful decade, it's Connery at his best, it's the gorgeous girls and locations and it's THE quintessential 007 film.
>-)
It's the quintessential depiction of cinematic Bond at it's best whereas On Her Majesty's Secret Service is the quintessential Fleming Bond on the silver screen, IMO.
I’m more than halfway through the OHMSS novel. It’s only my fourth Fleming book so I’d like to get to the end of it first and then to the other books. Only then I could tell you if I agree that OHMSS is the quintessential Bond novel. So far, I’d say it’s my favorite.
I always considered that to be FRWL, but OHMSS is my second favourite Bond film so I guess we're not too different.
