It's been a few years since this one. Still hilarious!
Brilliant! Thanks for that, @Torgeirtrap!
Sometimes the recommended videos section on Youtube features some quite interesting videos. This was one of them! There are more videos like this one the same channel, @Univex. :-)
432 Hertz sounding in a drop of water.
Crazy to watch that and think "A Streetcar Named Desire" wouldn't be made for another forty years, which is very old by today's standards; over a century later.
And in some ways we've regressed since then; look how well everyone is dressed! :'(
I think if I lived as I currently am but in 1911, I'd want a career in the automotive industry. Your video is giving me many thoughts. ;P
It had me search for tramways in New York, as I wondered what the propulsion was. I didn't see any electrical wiring nor a steamlocomotive. Turns out they were cable-hauled. Tht explains the 'third rail' I saw. Imagine having a steel cable beeing pulled along the road in a gully continiesly all day. Fascinating stuff. Another thing that struck me: the many peaple seen having difficulties walking.
When watching this the first time, I couldn't help but think: "When was the last time I wore a suit?" :))
