-What did you score in your marksmanship evaluation?
-Seventy.
-HA! Forty.
I'll keep repeating this until Babs can't get it out of her head...
In which 007 does nothing as those around him can't get their shit together!
“You’re late, 007.”
“Sorry, R. I was... delayed.”
Bond retires and by the end of the movie another agent becomes 007, disproving the codename theory once and for all.
Or
the hildebrand rarity
The question I have and I plan on posting it in the Bond 25 thread is what kind of title should Craig have for his final outing as 007
So far he has had titles
Based on a Fleming novel (Casino Royale)
Based on a Fleming short story (quantum of solace)
Based on nothing at all (Skyfall)
Based on a Fleming Chapter title (Spectre)
So how should he end to be fair he could still do one more of each of those patterns
For novels we could have a repeate title or the two non Bond novels could be used (though in my opinion the only useable one from that is The Diamond Smugglers)
Short stories we obviously have The Property of a Lady Risico (which I want to be used simply as I am bored seeing it on so many fan arts and fan trailers) The Hildebrand Rarity and 007 In New York
Original titles well the skies the limit with that
Chapter titles is interesting as there are a bunch I feel that could be quite good From A Whisper of Love A Whisper of Hate to in a glass, very darkly all of Fleming’s books have at least one good title for a bond film
So which style should Craig’s last outing be?
Why not? They've even used the name of Fleming's house.
They've flirted with it though: the first full script of Spectre was titled The Death Collector. Presumably that was dropped in favor of a short, iconic title and because "die" and "death" have been overused. But once the short iconic titles run out (and not many are left), I think chapter titles have a very good chance of being used.
@PropertyOfALady , a madman is after you. Better hide for a while. This guy strangled his psychiatrist.
Rather, I suggest staying put with your sleeves rolled up and taking shots of vodka while assembling your Walther.
REPORTING FOR DUTY
I put it caps for dramatic effect ;)
A title that makes absolutely clear Bond is back and put on a (standalone) mission away from the personal drama.
This of course might have been suggested before but I haven't read all pages of this thread.
So you ruined it for me now. Haha.
Duty Has No Sweethearts
I went back to look at a lot of his track record. It’s pretty lousy. He seems to mostly just latch on to whatever becomes the popular rumor at a certain time, then sprinkles in something else that’s usually untrue. I highly doubt the film’s plot details are as he described them. Though I would like a female villain.
I've been reading across these boards since Logan came out.
And it makes sense to bring in alumni for that.
