We can only hope! Some had enough issues with Skyfall:
Also, Thunderball, Moonraker and Octopussy were all given subtitles (Operation Thunder, Operation Space and Operation Octopus).
Honestly I'm quite fond of the Italian titles (except for Licence to Kill as it sounds rather generic whereas Dr. No fits the mystery pulp style of the movie - but then again LTK was used in English as well - and Moving Target as it sounds rather uninspired, but AVTAK admittedly was tricky to translate)
AFAIK only The Property of a Lady was being considerated for Dalton's third movie.
Working title: PERFECT VISION (2O2O)
But they were memorable and striking names that fitted as titles. The only others I could see that working for are MR BIG, SCARAMANGA, ELEKTRA, GRAVES and LE CHIFFRE:
I can only agree on LE CHIFFREE & SCARAMANGA others are so so... But I didn't say just Blofeld it's - E.S.BLOFELD
20:20 Vision
I still don’t see it....
Let the optical puns begin
Or the Brummie spin-off - James Bond: Hankering After Handsworth.
Seriously, though, of all the titles so many Bond fans have put hours of time coming up with (admittedly, me included) - carefully gleaned from Fleming, as they are - but to my mind sound at all reasonable, likely and not laughable, the only two for me right now are Risico and Shatterhand. That's it; I'm not sure there is anything else if you're looking to lift another movie title from Fleming by this point, to be honest.
Personally, I much prefer the latter for the oft-trotted-out notion of Blofeld returning one last time for Craig's Bond a la Fleming's YOLT. By comparison, Risico's *a bit* naff (Fleming essentially said as much himself of it) and could be used to mean/ refer to anything. But it *sounds* all right, if not great. That said, many (again, me included) felt the same about Skyfall when it was announced - and that turned out OK, so who knows?
Alternatively...James Bond: The Squeakquel
20:20 Vision?? Eye don't think so
The whole thing is a bit blurry
It fails to catch my eye
Die, Blofeld, Die!
THE WAY YOU DIE
Yes heard a while back not a bad song but I doubt anything even related to that will be used.
To please the hardcore fans. (Excepting the status as an S-word title, hopefully that can be lived with.)
