    ...if they ever get around to adapting MR properly. So much fire imagery in that book.

    The Belles of Hell could also work as a final Bond title for Craig. But I'd imagine the Christian right wouldn't like the use of "hell," and Eon as usual wouldn't want to alienate any audience members.

    Hell, I remember their minor outcry to the lyrics "Dance into the fire" of AVTAK.

    You can't possibly compare a direly generic pulp cover title like 007 in New York to a more meaningful albeit complicated Quantum of Solace, can you? And I don't recall anybody saying QoS was impossible to be used, unless you're confusing it with Reflections in a Carey Cadillac. The unused title of the New York short story, that is.

    Reflections in a Carey Cadillac / Reflections in a Double Bourbon: they’re cool literary titles, but they don’t feel right for the title of a Bond film.

    I suppose SPECTRE counts as a chapter title.
    Some of the chapter titles aren't bad at all.
    I always loved the titles: THE ELEGANT VENUS and SEASCAPE WITH FIGURES.
    I could see SEASCAPE WITH FIGURES being the name of a stolen museum art-piece or something. A MacGuffin Bond must go after.
    I used to have all the Fleming Bond novels so I could browse. I only remember a handful of titles off the top of my head.

    I'd bet good money we are getting a faithful MR adaptation for Bond 26 (if CR is any precedent). It would be a more economical story to shoot, and the story would work well for a new actor.

    Bond titles are notoriously difficult to come up with, and it is here where Fleming always shone.

    The only Fleming title left that might hint at Craig's last mission is "The Property of A Lady."

    If they don't go with one of the three or four Fleming titles left (but is 007 in New York really a Fleming title? Discuss), I wouldn't mind a "The Man..." kind of title.

    Maybe "The Man Who Was A Spy"? Something provocative and about Bond himself, and evoking the end of Craig's tenure.

    "Once Upon A Spy" was a good idea. Maybe "Once A Spy"? "Once A Spy, Always A Spy"? "Once Bitten, Twice Spy"?

    The line between mysterious and cheesy is very thin. See how hard this is? None of us are Fleming.

    And yet let's face it, we fans will grow to love whatever title they come up with. The only one in retrospect that I still don't love is Licence To Kill. Just too generic. I also wouldn't like James Bond or 007 for that same reason.

    Maybe some day we'll get EVERYTHING OR NOTHING?
    THE PROPERTY OF A LADY is still my favorite remaining Fleming title, though I love RISICO, also. I feel THE HILDEBRAND RARITY would have been cool. I think using that Hildebrand as the safe house kind of jinxed it for eventually becoming a film title.

    There are plenty of good Fleming chapter titles left to choose from as well.
