Agreed. I see how to vote now though.
I vote directors.
By the way, how long could a decades elimination game last?
Hmm.. I think we might need more time to let SP sink in before we can properly include it in an elimination game. Just my two cents.
Also, I'll vote for Decades as well. I think it's a good idea to interject a short game into the mix every now and then.
Decades: IIIII II
Car chases:II
Directors: III
It looks like Bond Decades is the winner from this round of voting. @Birdleson, do you want to make the thread so we can see how the race for second turns out?
SP will ultimately sink or rise to where it belongs, but you only get one shot to capture the first impression. I think we should go for it immediately (about a month after the release).
Directors
What about the Spectre car chase then?
I thought about that. Between the two I'd rather do the car chase first. Having two films under his belt would give us a better judgment of Sam Mendes.
so some already desperately want Mendes to win the director's elimination game??
But go ahead with car chases, that will be a great game as well.
You're kidding right? I never said or even implied I desperately wanted Mendes to win - I just think it's a better evaluation with both of his films instead of just Skyfall. He's not even my #1 Bond director currently for the record.
I was the usual sarcastic bitch, didn't mean you personally.
Mendes is an accomplished director but I don't like his work in SF much.
Wow, just read my own post. Roger Moore is the King of car chases. Throw in Cannonball Run, and you are safe, Sir Rog.
