  I saw that earlier, but as is my luck, it was some impossible-to-link non-YouTube link. I love Carrey, always refreshing seeing a comedian do something serious too, so I'll give it a go at some point.
  
  My American ears aren't failing me and he was working with some type of accent in that, isn't he? Sounded that way for most of the trailer, aside from a moment or two that sounded quite American.

  Ah hm, that looks quite different from that "first official foto from set" of Hardy as Al Capone. Impressive transformation.
  Impressive also the collection of gangsters Hardy accumulates. First small time crook and long time prisoner Charlie Bronson, then London underworld legends the Kray twins, now Al Capone. Who´s next, Kim Jong-Un?
  
  
  @Creasy47, I wonder if Mann is so difficult to work with, or if he just doesn´t want to obey studio demands. Perhaps a bit of both, in connection with his last film Blackhat being a commercial failure. It´s a shame that he doesn´t put out more. I also would be curious to see that Blackhat director´s cut, but I´m afraid noone is willing to pay for a dvd/br release.

  @boldfinger, agreed. Plus Mann is big on shooting a scene multiple times to get it perfect, and I know that'll get a bit tiring for some actors (Deep seemed to loathe the idea while shooting Public Enemies).

  Fantastic news, thanks @Creasy47 ! I really enjoyed Atomic Blonde, I can't wait for the sequel (and hopefully we'll be getting both this and The Accountant 2 around the same time).

  Honestly I think he may be the best actor of his generation. Truly a chameleon.

  This film took a while to get a proper release. New title, too. Carrey seems solid in the role. Though the film doesn't appear to be very funny. I only laughed, like, twice.

  @boldfinger, people are money hungry, is all. Sounds like a fight over bonuses and over the hectic schedule, which delivered a hit with the critics and a semi-decent box office. The good news is that he confirmed he has scripts for the next two completed already, and could get one (or both) shot sooner rather than later once this whole debacle is over.
