Bond villains are glorified supporting characters. But….if done well, they can linger in the memory and really hold our attention and capture our imagination.

Malek is having a huge moment in his career currently and getting him as the villain is a huge win for Eon and Fukunaga. If it wasn’t for Fukunaga’s involvement, I don’t think they’d have got him.

But his casting makes worlds of sense. When I first heard his name, I was struck with how genius the suggestion was. I was almost angry I didn’t think it up, as he’s perfect for the role.

Waltz is cameoing in the film. His role will be comparable to Mr White in Spectre.

I.e ; he's in prison taunting the heroes for coming to him with their tales between their legs for intel.

I think Blofeld's escape will be saved for a later film - where we will get a new Bond and perhaps a new Blofeld.

Rami is the lead villain.

Maybe I’m crazy but I don’t see Rami as an A list actor...

He was a minor terrorist in 2 episodes of 24. Iv never seen the robot show he’s in, I know it’s gotten good reviews but it’s not like it’s the hottest show out there.

Not saying he’s a bad actor but I just don’t get the A list status.

More like an upcoming future star like Florence Pugh!

She’s had one huge movie like rami, some quality tv shows and now the lead in black widow. She’s also replacing black widow in the avengers and is definitely the next J-Law but not quite the A list status yet.

The "hit or miss" Sassilive reported the news about Dua Lipa being the singer 5 months ago.

3 days ago they reported that Sheeran took the job instead.

Lol if she's indeed the singer would be ridiculous for them. But I don't think she will be.

I don't believe Vogue would report on this if there wasn't something from Dua Lipa's camp to indicate that she is a contender for the title song. It isn't the type of publication to speculate........

I do believe that Dua Lipa has been contacted and ask to think of something. Though I reckon a handful of artists have as well. Much like how both Sam Smith and Radiohead were asked.

We would get a music video at least....
