Correction. Not convinced it's a funeral. Seems more like an:
Easter procession outside the church. They are holding religious symbols including a large Madonna.

Linus is indeed there. Seen Chris Courbold too.

Bond stunt driver has a helmet with the dots on. Wearing the beige suit and blue shirt. Got it on video on my camera.

    Yep I called it!! lol

Scene 54.. So not PTS. We know that. Scene 54 was the car chase in Rome for SP. So more towards the middle of the film.

    Sassilive translation:

"This afternoon on the open-air set-up set up in piazza Duomo and steps Duomo a scene was filmed with the procession of the Madonna della Bruna, patroness of the city of Matera, some Knights on foot and the "Francesco Paolicelli" band from Matera directed by Nunzio Vincenzo PaoliceUi. Fans of the James Bond saga will therefore be able to admire in the film not only the historical, artistic and religious heritage represented by the ancient Sassi but also discover our traditions and in particular the one linked to the longest and most awaited day of the Matera, on 2 July, in which the patroness Maria Santissima della Bruna is celebrated. Also in the afternoon, the last shots were taken on the jump set for the motorcycle race from Gradoni Duomo to Piazza Duomo "

Thanks for the info. Realized seconds later it was pretty quick after all using my YT.

So Bond goes against the procession, to the side of it for the jump, then he goes trough the crow just after landing on the piazza in front of the church.

All of this shot with a massive drone and two cable cams.

    Wow, what an epic scene.

I'm wondering how the ramp will look like in the movie. What is this wooden construction supposed to be in the film world?

The Easter stuff makes sense given it occurs 9 days after UK release and 4 days after US.

Similar to the Christmas references in OHMSS.

Could the Easter theme have some bearing on the plot/script? Or they just like to honour the italian culture?

Sir Peter Jackson's former vintage plane flyer worked on latest Bond film
    https://stuff.co.nz/national/crime/115591713/sir-peter-jacksons-former-vintage-plane-flyer-worked-on-latest-bond-film

Vintage plane pilot Eugene DeMarco, now accused of fraud, worked on the latest James Bond movie, a jury has been told.

Giving evidence in his own defence at his trial at the High Court in Wellington on Friday, DeMarco said he was involved in movies before he started working for Sir Peter Jackson's plane company.

And since he stopped working for Jackson and Dame Fran Walsh he has flown a seaplane in the Bahamas for the latest Bond movie, No Time To Die.

He looked pretty good in Jamaica too.
  • More Craig photos from today (or last night). Looking great indeed.

I'd really, really hoped to get to the Knives Out premiere but wasn't even close on securing a ticket. And they're running crazy expensive at this point for last-minute. Hope all who get to attend enjoy!

I'm in the same boat. They sold out very shortly after they went on sale.

I read from some folks afterward that they didn't even get as far as the public sale. I came very close to buying re-sold ones this week but it was just way too much.

Perhaps Craig will leave for Italy directly from Toronto.
