Ah, you've got a point, old man, Cary looks like he's been digitally inserted into that first pic. :)

Also a girl from France was cast as young Swann.

According to a segment on Good Morning Norway covering the NTTD shoot in Norway in March, it was reported that the girl is Norwegian. The source was a Bond enthusiast and writer who had spoken to a security guard on location who hadn't signed any confidentiality papers.

I just know the casting call sheet said they wanted a French girl. She could be from that area though.

It would’ve been more expensive to cast a girl from France and fly her out. The girl looks EXACTLY like lea. So well done on their part for cashing someone who looks just like her.
That casting call sheet was never confirmed to be for Bond.

¿BOND 25 and BOND 26? :-? Back-to-Back?? This rumor is not new, but I thought it was already ruled out.

Remember what Christoph Waltz said to Mirror back in January 2016, that he will return in TWO more Bond movies - but 'only if Daniel Craig does too'. Alson The Sun published that the bosses bid to lure Daniel Craig back to 007 role with 2 in 1 Bond film promise. Producers say they would shoot two movies at once to keep the superstar happy.

Now, while the first unit is filming NTTD in Matera we have at the same time the second unit with a scene No. 253 in Sapri. So, is the footage of the movie more than 3 hours or does this scene in Sapri belong to the end of the movie or it really is what ggll007 says that both movies are being filmed together?

In April Fukunaga said that BOND 25 was going to be filmed in Jamaica, Norway, Italy and at Pinewood Studios in London. But nevertheless they have been in Scotland, on the Isle of Wight in England and even Greece has been mentioned many times.

October is comming, they are filming since April, we don't know when they will end and in five months we have not seen the character of Rami Malek, we do not even know his appearance or his name either.

Are the two movies filming back-to-back? I don't know, but it would be a good strategy and for me a great decision. First, because it is the best way to take advantage of Daniel Craig's physique and because the Bond-SPECTRE-Blofeld story doesn't have just two movies.

    ;)

As it exciting as it would be they are only making one. Something like this would leak a while back.

And NTTD will have at least a 135 minute runtime, I added up the locations time allottment

Yeah whatever Marketto reported above was not true at all...

Just stupid Italian tabloids making stuff up.

Nomi drives the new Aston and she’s obviously not in Italy!

I wouldn’t be surprised if she has a heroic death scene, she’s definitely not going to be the final girl. That’s going to be Swann.

Why would they bring her in at SP and have Bond quit his job for her? Even the whole “I love you”, plus a wedding scene?

They are not going to end the film like OHMSS, it’s been done before and that would be BAD writing.

Knowing Carey, he is extremely smart with story building + characters. I’d say Bond and Swann end up separated. It looks like she’s even in the bridge jump part with Bond. Maybe they fall into water and they go in separate directions?

Bond assumes she’s dead. He’s in Jamaica and Felix has photos of her being forced to help Malek!

Here’s how I would have the movie go down. Not saying this is true, just how I would do it based on what we know.

    1) Norway PTS (Young Swann) Dream sequence.. Madeleine wakes up in hotel with Bond sweating and upset. Bond comforts her. Says he’s going to get a drink, bam they get attacked.

    2) Chase scene, They jump the bridge, fall into water and are separated...

    3) MAIN TITLES

    4) MI6 scene/CIA or a random villain scene to introduce characters.

    5) Madeleine alive, in an office years later. Malek breaks in kills everyone and kidnaps her.

    6) Felix finds Bond, shows him photos of Madeleine alive...

    7) Nomi meets Bond, says to stay out of her away, he’s no longer an agent.

    8) Bond goes to Cuba, Meets Ana (girlfriend of Malek or Cuban intelligence), he’s tracking Malek or one of his henchman. Nomi gets pinned down and Bond saves her life.

The rest I have no idea what could possibly happen.

I don’t think Bond ever gets his 007 status back in the film. The fact that Monepenny and Bond are seen going to Q’s apartment means he’s no longer MI6. If he was MI6 why would they go to his home and not his lab at work?

100% he’s getting some gadgets in this film!

I think the general direction here is correct. I am not sure Bond thinks Madeleine is dead. The bigger heartbreak is knowing they had to part ways for her own good. I am still thinking that the girl in Norway is Madeleine's daughter from her marriage, years in the past. If one of this film's themes is about facing our past (as Bond may with Vesper's grave) then Madeleine may be forced to do so, as well.

If the flashback of Madeleine as a child is the opening of the film..and we are in Madeleine's head....then by default, she becomes the main character. She is immediately the one with whom the audience is asked to identify. I simply can't see that happening.

She’s far too young to have a 12-13 year old daughter.. Especially if it was years ago. Spectre was set in 2015. Obviously they will do a 2015 and then the film takes place in 2020. So I’m assuming there’s a “5 year later” part to the film.

It’s already been confirmed it’s a young Swann. I don’t know why people continue to deny it.

She has a stunt double who openly says she’s young swanns stunt double... Also a girl from France was cast as young Swann.

Nothing has been confirmed, in this regard. For every argument that it is a young Madeleine, in flashback, there are equal arguments that it is not. Regardless, Madeleine is most definitely old enough to have a 12-year old daughter. Lea is 34. Her character in 2020 could easily be 36 or 37. I don't see an issue there.

As I mentioned, the biggest head-scratcher with this "flashback" idea is that we are going into the head of a supporting character. It means that Madeleine's story is SO important, that we need a visual representation of it. A film does this to provide emotional weight to that character's past. So, from a narrative standpoint, this makes her backstory and viewpoint central to the film. This is problematic. I am not saying it can't be done (or won't be). But it is hard to imagine the screenwriters (even PWB) diving into a Bond girl's backstory like that.

She’s listed on IMDB as her stunt double. Of course I’m sure it’s some huge elaborate hoax to add fake people to IMDB like, production assistant #5, or the special effects makeup guy from Game Of Thrones or a sound guy who worked on Mission Impossible🤦🏼‍♂️..

Here’s the text for the casting call.

“For the filming of a feature film with Léa Seydoux, casting director is looking for the following profile:
    - a 12-year-old girl (age 10 to 14), blonde with blue eyes.
It will be to interpret Léa Seydoux child. Physical resemblance is very important. Your daughter must be athletic, with character and confidence. The child will have to know how to swim and be comfortable in the water. Important role.
It is not necessary to have experience to apply. The casting will take place in Paris in January.
Please apply by sending the following:
    - recent color photos
    - surname, first name, date of birth, size, class
    - full contact details of the parents

    Mention "Lea Seydoux child"

Here is what the newspaper also released...

    https://ibb.co/68Kjjpm

Scenes for girl running on a lake and falling in to water (which we have on video).

So Lea is filming another movie where there’s a flashback scene of her swimming?

Pretty obvious the casting call and the pinewood release papers (shared in a Norway newspaper), confirm it.

$10,000 on it. If you’re confident let’s bet.

Do you guys not remember on the train when Madeleine said a man broke into her home and she shot him? Blofeld said he visited Swann when she was just a girl?

Obviously it’s someone from her past. I’m sure they will explain it in the film. It makes zero sense for her to randomly have a daughter.

That would be the worst plot line of all time. I mean are they going to say James Bond has six kids next?

I think you're all overthinking this way too much because of "SPECTRE". It could very well be that this stupid child on itself is a McGuffin and is not Madeleine nor a child of Madeleine. Just a child, abused and pursued for scientific reasons or whatever.

Why would the girl upload video of her at Pinewood #Bond25, doing water scenes? Then her agent added her to the IMDB production as “Young Madeleine Swann stunt double”...

The thing is EON/MGM and universal will NEVER confirm a stunt double. Unless it’s Brad Pitt/Tom Cruise (a big star), why would they confirm some random stunt double doing water scenes?

There’s a guy named Rodrig who I talked to who is playing a Spectre agent. He’s in the film. Will not be credited.

That happens a lot. Look at the Spectre meeting scene. How many people were in that scene as Spectre agents that didn’t get a credit.

The female receptionist for Madeleine Swann had her name removed from IMDB, her agent’s assistant added her to the cast list without checking with EON and the production team. The press interviewed her and ran a story on it.

I mean again the average person who has no clue on how the film industry works wouldn’t understand any of this.

If you guys don’t want to believe actual video of the stunt team at pinewood are in the film then😂 okaaaay! Have fun!

Is there any possible chance Craig or his stunt double was in Norway for the scene with the child and the house. That will give us our answer obviously.

The Norway scenes are a flashback and we will see a de-aged Waltz and possibly Malek, or, if it’s not a flashback then the young girl is , yes, the dreaded clone; she is not Swann’s daughter.

Yes the flashback thing seems to be pretty obvious by now. And there is nothing wrong with getting into the head of a supporting character when part of her story intertwines with the protagonist, ie a love interest or significant other. Swann is obviously important enough for Bond for him to care for her even when being he is being chased, bloodied and bruised, as pics show. This can add to their story, and thus, Bond's current arc.

Does NTTD set up Bond 26?

big grain of salt, but this comes from @ggl007 - the story is that NTTD's ending will directly set up Bond 26.

With talk of a 'wedding' finale, the suggestion of a what a direct sequel would entail hardly needs explaining. The article seems to suggest Bond 26 would be filmed-back-to-back.

Personally, I highly doubt this. Eon struggled enough to get a script for one film - let alone, two!

They're purely basing this off the odd clapperboard scene number so...yeah.
I am also reading the German Bond Forum (jamesbond.de) and there they were also discussing the odd clapperboard numbering.
A guy who says he would work in the movie industry said its a typical 2nd unit clapperboard, as 2nd unit is often shooting with multiple cameras.

So it would be X2 Scene 53B.

This article claims Daniel would be in Austria on Sunday, presenting the prize at a horse derby.

Kinda sounds like BS but thought I'd share it. Would be around 4 hours of traveling in one direction, he could do it in one day and return. Not buying it yet though.

Anyone knows where they shooting today? According to Lotis nothing in Sassi di Matera. They only post info, maps, traffic bans when it affects the locals.

On the oher hand this was posted this morning. Could be the square again or maybe it was from yesterday's shoot.

Bond #25 and #26 back-to-back? Have they not got their wires crossed, and are thinking of Mission: Impossible?

    Good old sassi news:

"The production are at the open-air set for filming scheduled for Friday 13 September in the British cemetery set up near the Madonna delle Vergini church in the Parco della Murgia Materana. On the set, for some scenes in the foreground, Daniel Craig will be involved in the title role James Bond and his bond girl Lea Seydoux, a double is used for the others. Therefore, shooting is not planned in the Sassi and in the historic center today."

I really don't see them filming back to back. It just doesn't make sense to me right now.

Anyway, I'm loving the pictures! Some of the stuff we're seeing BTS is looking really exciting. Thanks for the stellar detective work guys.

So it makes more sense to say she has a daughter who is 12-13 out of no where?? That makes no sense...

I hate to break this to you, but Madeleine had a life long before she met Bond. And it possibly contains an ex-husband and child she wants to protect.

I am not arguing for this but it is very plausible.

That said: a flashback from Madeleine’s perspective is a really, really bad idea.

Might not be a flashback, quite likely the scenes are set some 20 years ago, just like GE opened with scenes set 9 years in the past.

We know for certain that the scene on the lake is ‘scene 15’ of the film.

Which means there are likely 14 other scenes in Norway prior to that chase on the lake.

I think the PTS will be shorter and less ‘spectacle’ than we expect. It’s either a Madeleine flashback or the kidnapping of the scientist.

Both have weight at the moment. We have seen more evidence to support the ‘young Madeleine’ theory - though we know Rami Malek was on set, which suggests the kidnapping.

I think the PTS will be akin to CR and be brief. Then we pick up in Matera for the first big action scene. Not to dissimilar to the parkour chase in CR.

Basically, we know very very little about this film. The end.

Dont forget that the movie maybe a direct sequel to Spectre so maybe Madeleine is not 34 as Lea is but still 29 as Lea was by then!

That was from yesterday. As I thought, filming today is at the cemetery. Lots of activity there. I'm across the canyon but can see Craig's double wearing the same brown/beige suit and blue shirt. Am told there will be an
    explosion
    during the scene.
