Ana De Armas is on her way back to England. Guess she isn't wrapped, after all. A good thing!

Just as this thread was ready to go completely off the rails, Ana de Armas saves the day with an Insta post. Thank you, Ana.

    THIS!!!!!!!!
Special interests aside, who to please at this point. I've heard complaints about the PPK appearing at all. The Aston Martin(s). Product placement. Gadgets. Bond not talking enough. Too much Moneypenny, Q, and M. Blofeld. Preference that OO7 be included out of the pre-title sequence. Bond in a tux. Bond having more than one female liaison.

Luckily they're focused on a making a Bond film.

    To be fair..

They haven’t made a good Bond film since Casino Royale.

I don’t care what anyone says, SF was not a good Bond film. Good action/adventure film for sure but EON has really fallen off..

I think everyone needs to go back and watch DN - CR. Then go watch QOS - SP.

Maybe it’s just me but it feels like everything is just crammed together, no lines, no end of the world plot or real threat.

If I wanted to watch an action movie with shitty editing, no lines and bad writing I’ll just watch the Taken or Bourne franchise. Fun films but they are not blockbusters like Bond.

Someone needs to slap the producers around and say “THIS IS JAMES BOND DAMN IT!!!”

Seriously. Bond films used to be the biggest films of the year and the most hyped up series.

IF they go woke and full on liberal for this film they will lose almost their entire fan base and franchise.

They could’ve at least made the poster black and white (takes two seconds on an iPhone) and it would’ve looked better.

There’s better paparazzi shots than that crap. The font for the title isn’t even readable. I mean seriously it looks like some cheaply made HBO crap.

What’s with everyone getting pissy about us being mad?

I do my best to not judge a film before I see a trailer but damn.

Every film after CR has been a mess imo. Even DAD was more of a “Bond film” then QOS - SP.

Take out the invisible car and a couple of poorly written scenes and it’s still a great James Bond film!

Good luck CJF, you need it my man lol!

Interesting how Eon did not pick up on the font screaming "The Love Boat". Regardless of people having short memories or not interested in old TV shows I would have thought they would have avoided this font.

Of course that's not the only use of the font.

Djeezus. That font is wonderful. I actually wrote an entire article about how popular that font was in the 1960's, especially with marketing outings.

And CR the best Bond film and after that it was only downhill? Shut up. SF is a masterpiece too.

I love that font too (always have). It stands out a bit, and that's needed sometimes. I really look forward to see how the title logo will be used in the marketing.

Do you have a link to that article, @GertGettler? :-)

The general consensus is yes Skyfall is great but the plot has issues after leaving Silva’s island, other criticisms were leveled at the story and Craig’s portrayal as well. The consensus is it doesn’t flow as well as CR

Yes, SF needed more time at Silva's island, and perhaps should have *ended* there (with M kidnapped a la TWINE?). Great location.

To me it flows much better than 20 other Bond films (CR excluded).

Was just checking IMDB, and saw that Japanese stunt woman Haruka Ohshima has been listed as a stunt double for Ana de Armas.
So this means that Paloma will see some action. I always expected her to be similar to Lucia in SP: Bond goes in, has a chat and something else, Bond goes out.

But this is a great development to me: Ana de Armas in an action scene! Yes!

I was kind of hoping she'd be a proper femme-fatale, ala Fiona Volpe, but from what we've heard that's not gonna happen :(

Stunt double doesn't necessarily mean that de Armas will be in an action scene, though. However, I certainly hope that's the case.

She does seem to be the type of Bond girl that gives Bond some hint to follow to continue his mission, and not much more. That doesn't mean that she won't have a personality of some sort, though. I'm hoping...

In addition to the three Aston Martin cars announced, the new DBS Superleggera will appear in No Time To Die.

I hope 007 drive them all. I mean Daniel Craig drive them all Aston Martin. Good thing about Daniel Craig as James Bond 007 I think he an Aston Martin fan

Skyfall is the worst "bond" movie ever........to protect "M" he takes her to an
isolated home (with a couple of guns )and invites bad guys

"Too many people are dying because of me. [...] All right. But just us. No one else."

It is literally and explictly said in the movie. But it's much easier to criticise a movie than actually paying attention to it, the latter requires some concentration.

Moreover Bond is a human and makes mistakes, that's what makes him more interesting than characters such as Ethan Hunt.

    +1

That poster alone is better than the so called teaser poster they released on Bond day...

New from Lashana this morning....................................................doesn't look like Pinewood. Could they be in Norway or the Faroe Islands?

    Gosh what a beautiful sky.

People this could well be Salisbury Plains. Got confirmation off my brother in law who has his own Security and Chauffeur business in London. He is 100% trustworthy, they walk their dogs there, heavy security, a fleet of green golf buggies to transport people, moving through the town of Great Cheverell, they live in Devizes. Was confirmed that NTTD was filming today!

While the sky was RAf Brize Norton, I have a feeling 2nd unit may now be in Salisbury Plain. Today was the 2nd time a crew member shared Stonehenge while passing in a car. There are some military zones so I guess it's easy so close the area off.

Cool. Well as we knew Blofeld was in it it's not a massive surprise I guess, but Spectre could easily have been disbanded with his incarceration and evidently they're not.

Excellent photo of Lynch and her friend! :)

There’s a guy named Rodrig. Mid to late 50s, he’s playing a member of Spectre. Then there’s Dr Vogel.

I asked Rodrig Andrisan via Facebook about his involvement. He told me he only had one day of shooting in summer at Pinewood, a very small part. So he won't be in the scene that Eliot Sumner is shooting now.

    This is what he wrote:
"I was in this last one just one day, tiny insignificant part, I hope I will be seen in the final cut."
