Interesting that Lynch is standing with MGW/BB instead of Craig.

The guy announcing that it's a wrap sure looks and sounds like Dave Zaritzky of The Bond Experience. LOL

To be honest for me this has been one of the most exciting of productions. Not only has the social media presence been great, looking at you Cary, but the overall positive vibes beaming from everything we're seeing is extremely refreshing and can only excite me for what they're going to deliver :)

Cary is probably the best director Craig has had.

I wonder if eon asked mendes again before Cary back in 2018
  • Awesome photo and I'm really glad filming had wrapped! I am in the camp that hopes it is Craig's last Bond, but as we all know never say never.

There seems to be a real positive vibe about this shoot. Granted all the “disasters” on set and setbacks and rumours but I think that’s media nonesense. Of what physical things we’ve seen, the actually feeling and togetherness on and around set, I think everyone involved has had a real life experience putting this movie together thus far and I think it’ll show in the finished article. I nearly feel upset for them that shooting has wrapped but nice to have official word now and excited and hoping the marketing will ramp up.

Hopefully release the teaser next week along with some of these set visit articles we’ve seen and some stills from the film and I think we’ll all be happy right?..

    Onwards and upwards 🍸

Media nonsense is inexcusable, yet unfortunately also a hard reality. What's even worse, however, is fan nonsense. Fans don't have to sell newspapers or get rich off other people's curiosity. The hundreds of pages of empty speculation, fear mongering and getting upset over unconfirmed rumours were painful to sit through.

Sentences structured as, "IF that were the case, as someone random and not at all involved in the making of the film thinks, then I'm really angry and I'm losing my love for Bond over that and EON knows [insert offensive term] about making movies and so-and-so should be fired and..." have made me feel ashamed for some here.

Now that production has wrapped up, we may finally get to some first footage from the film, some first edited clips, soon. Mark this moment. It's when serious people will start to weigh in on the discussions. And all those who've been making total fools of themselves these past months will have lost every bit of credibility in these discussions. The thing I'm hoping for most of all is that NTTD will turn out a completely different movie than predicted by some of our most vocal oracles here. While I want NTTD to be an enjoyable Bond film for most of us, I also hope it'll be a lesson in modesty to some.

I don't spend as much time following Bond 25 production as some of you. So I don't see every instagram pic, every tweet of behind the scenes antics. I only check in here when theres about 300 - 400 new posts, and most of the time just skip to the most recent page of comments. So I have a slightly different perspective, from the outside. I hear nothing, absolutely nothing about Bond unless its on this sitw, and this is what is worrying me.

Unless I visited here, I probably wouldn't even know who was in it, thats how poor EON have been with marketing this thing thus far. I remember there was a big splash about Lynchs casting, but after that none of the campaign has struck a note. I notice people saying that the promotion won't start until December time, but by then we will probably be getting trailers for all the big summer movies of 2020. Its hard to see how Bond will make an impact and not get swept under the rug this time. When we got the jamaican video it felt like we would be getting 4 - 5 more throughout production of the different locations. Now filming has wrapped (or about finished) and no more have come?

All we have so far it a basic as basic gets teaser poster and a title (the less spoken about which the better). I haven't been hyped for Bond 25 for along time, but now am struggling to remain engaged whatsoever. There needs to be SOMETHING positive to come out of this production soon, everything apart from the Jamaica video has been bad or mediocre. And this is from a lifelong fan of the Bond movies, and supportive fan until SP. It is sad to see, or feel that Bond is slipping behind, the teaser HAS to correct many things, put us straight that Bond IS the lead character, and the whole thing hasn't been copted by political ideology like STAR WARS and Marvel. Though, if Noamis comments are to be believed there isn't much hope for that.

I remember there was a big splash about Lynchs casting,
People got excited about Malek and Ana de Armas but I don't think anybody cared about Lashana Lynch's casting.
everything apart from the Jamaica video has been bad or mediocre.
That is true. If I went back in time and told people here in late June that we wouldn't get another video like the Jamaica vlog for at least FOUR months, people would have called me a liar.

I guess as fans we're all different. I have seen or had no reason to be concerned about NTTD as of yet. In fact I'll have no cause for concern till April 2020, after I've seen the finished film. Only then, can I pass judgement on the 25th Bond film fairly.
Personally I love that we know little to nothing about the film. Just like days of old.
I understand why some fans hate it, living in a world of information at our fingertips.
The marketing will obviously ramp up in the new year, and possibly around Christmas. But they don't need to get into the publicity six months out. No cause for concern there.
All good things to those who wait.

Same thoughts here, we can't pass judgement on a film we haven't seen. Even if the 'doomed' production was true out of adversity sometimes comes brilliance. How a production goes doesn't necessarily reflect the quality of the finished product. I have loved the fact that we don't know much and hope the trailers now don't go and spoil things.

I hope we get some serious misdirection, and even trailers minus Rami Malek.
Keep the angle of intrigue and surprise up, all the way to the finished film.

I have no problem with the lack of publicity. My only worry is that Craig doesn't leave on a high note. Meaning that his tenure has been one long turn to the dark side, fighting inner demons and so forth, always looking for a way to retire.

Back in the days almost every kid wanted to be Bond. Cool gadgets, lots of women, glamorous - the world at his feet. Not much of that over the last 13 years. Guess it's the sign of the times that every hero has to have an inner struggle going on, so we are suppose to be feel sorry for the character instead.

For Bond 26...can we please have James Bond back?

Understandable wishes, although the last one seems incredibly ambitious ;-).

    Lots of women? check
Glamorous? check, unless a casino & a beautiful gigantic eye don't count
Cool gadgets? more or less check

The only thing I agree on is that they should have never made Blofeld his "foster brother".

I hope there wil go one step further and Journalist also not going to see the movie before 30 March 2020. What mean second week of release tv papers (released on 07 April) can write about the movie. Weak earlier version there can write about Bond in general and that it be 25the movie and there can introduce confirmd actor/actres.

    @JamesCraig

Glamour is not only about wearing a tux and entering a casino, and, except a watch and the DB10, which gadgets did Craig use in four movies?

So Nomi is in Cuba too, huh. Very nice.

She filmed outdoor scenes with Craig in April in Jamaica, so it makes sense, that she is part of the whole America-part of the story.
  • Does anyone think NTTD could have still hit that February release date? There would still be 3 months to go, which is similar to what SP had if memory serves me correct.
