EON better not fucking cave. I don't think I can take another delay
F7 was a worldwide phenomenon that doubled F6 grosses. In China a success depends mostly by the audience taste. Disney tried everything to market Star Wars in China but they flopped three times. SP was marketed far more aggressively than SF there and SP grossed $25 million more.
NTTD doubling SP gross during a pandemic doesn’t make any sense, even with the greatest marketing campaign. You’ll see.

Truth is theaters are still here. If Bond delays, theaters will survive. Anyway Bond won’t delay and Bezos still doesn’t own 50% of the rights.
Theatres were in trouble since before the pandemic. And again I’m talking about big box cinemas, there will always be a place for cinemas of some kind. I doubt too that Bond will delay (though these days you have to be careful saying this ‘will’ happen or this ‘won’t’ happen), and I know Bezos can’t make that call. Just saying I imagine he’d be thrilled if Amazon Prime streamed NTTD.
Important to remember — the buyout has not been approved nor will it until next summer at the earliest.

Habits were changing before Covid happened. Box office in theaters had started to dwindle outside of big tentpole movies. And in that category, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame had broken records but I don't expect phase IV of the MCU to be that huge. For more and more people pre-pandemic, it didn't matter that much whether they were seeing some blockbuster in a theater or some cheaper knockoff exclusive to a streaming service.
Then Covid happened, and it has basically served as a catalyst to trends that already existed. However, Bond is one of these last remaining tentpole franchises, and given how it was one of the earliest casualties of the pandemic, No Time to Die may carry some particular significance for people who have been waiting for its release for something like 18 months. So, I expect some strong box-office, well comparatively to the current situation not to Skyfall or Spectre. This is the kind of movie that would get people out of their houses, if only to celebrate some milestone.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but if Danny Boyle wasn't "detached" from the project, NTTD would be two years old now.
EDIT: Ah, looks like the original release was November 2019, thought it was October.

This picture of Bond and Madeline is fantastic. Great acting from Lea, you can see in her eyes she's in love with Bond but its as if she's keeping something from him. Possibly regretting betraying him?
It reminds of a very similar picture of Vesper and Bond from Casino. Eva Green had a very similar look in her eyes, before betraying Bond
Agreed. She has a secret... But it sounds like Blofeld is manipulating and warping Bond's instincts behind the scenes.
I wonder about the link between Madeleine and Vesper. I do believe, that somehow, these two women are linked or have some sort of history, in a way.
