    Sherlock Holmes. As much as i love the Cumberbatch incarnation? I have huge love and appreciation of the old black & white Basil Rathbone adventures. He was my introduction to Arthur Conan Doyle's creation.

    And what do you think of Robert Downey Jr in that role?
    It’s much more action oriented but I think he gave us a very fun Sherlock Holmes and wow RDJ looked so in shape.

    Cool, I really liked him in Firefly (aka Serenity) as well, just a pity that series didn't last longer, it was much better than most that have

    Well, I love that character too. With a Fleming character and a Topol performance you really can't go wrong! :)

    I'll proffer Mr. Dryden from Lawrence of Arabia as one of my all-time favourite characters. From what I understand he's an amalgam of three or four real people, but in and of himself, a complete fiction. One of Claude Rains' greatest performances.

    Absolutely, really hoping for a third part? Especially now RDJ is not so tied up with the Marvel franchise.

    Mind you, my old boss easily had the beating of my Donald Pleasance yarn - she was friends with Alex Kingston, who was married to Fiennes and had been in Moll Flanders with Daniel Craig and Diana Rigg! I can't compete with that...

    Zira, Cornelius and Caesar from the five original Planet of the Apes films. Just love the characterization of them, the aesthetics of the masks and the voicing.

    Planet of the Apes is by far my most favourite movies after the Bonds. The new trilogy with Serkis is probably one of the better movie trilogies ever!
