Why did she die? What's the cause of her death?

Edit: Okay, I'm going to read the link, thanks, @Creasy47

This is shocking, because I've never expected her to die so early like this.

No cause of death has been released by her family as yet, nor the exact date of her death in July 2023.

Randy Meisner, co-founder of The Eagles (the source of those gorgeous high harmonies of theirs, writer & singer of "Take it to the Limit") has reached his own limit. This sort of stuff is getting too close for the likes of me...

RIP Randy Meisner. So there's only Don Henley left of the original lineup. I have an SD card with all the Eagles albums in my car and will now play it on "random" in Meisner's honor for a while. Time to move on from Gordon Lightfoot...and Tina Turner. Wonder who's next.

I think Bernie Leadon's still alive, he's also a part of the original lineup.

You're right. He's been pretty much under the radar for me, as I really got "into" Eagles with the Hotel California album, when Bernie had already left and Joe Walsh came in.

Former head of the Miss France contest Geneviève de Fontenay, famous for the tight leash with which she ran the contest, and her iconic hat, has passed away, aged 90. Wonder if she'll be buried with one of her hats. If not, she should.

Composer Carl Davis has passed away. His achievements were many, but film lovers treasure him most for his magnificent silent film scores.

Here's the climax of his epic score for Abel Gance's masterpiece Napoleon:

We will miss him. He was great in Scarface, Pi, Breaking Bad & BCS, and much more. Too bad he was never cast in a Bond film. RIP, Mark.

Sad to hear of the death of Mark Margolis. I know him from an episode of Columbo called Columbo Cries Wolf (1990).

I've been in the midst of checking out his films I hadn't seen before over the past week or two, so very untimely and shocking news to read. RIP to one of the greats. He's easily one of my favorite directors.

Damn. RIP William Friedkin. I saw THE EXORCIST in the cinema a few times. I also remember THE GUARDIAN starring Carey Lowell.
