    ..... there's a version where she sings it as "Licence to Kilt" which is really odd. Glad to know I am not the only who has heard it that way.

    I always liked LTK as a title. It has a certain mythic quality to it. Feels more befitting of a film name than Shaken Not Stirred to me, which just seems lightweight.

    Yes I believe it's mentioned in the LTK entry in The Bond Files book so commentators have noticed it too. I take it she was trying to sing "Licence to Kill't" or "Kill it" but that doesn't really make any sense either. Strange.

    Never liked LTK or Spectre as titles, although I like the latter. NTTD I thought was a very fitting.

    Actually the last Nolan film, that fully convinced me, was THE DARK KNIGHT. INCEPTION is good, but the plot is already kind of confusing, TDKR was... okay, but definitely not up there with TDK. INTERSTELLAR IMO is dull and boring, DUNKIRK probably is more popular in the UK, I suppose. TENET was a mess of a movie, 2,5 hours full of noise and loud music, and a plot, you don't get on first viewing. And I actually did not want to watch it a second time. OPPENHEIMER ÄI still have to watch. So, as for this, I am not absolutely posituive about Nolan as a Bond director. He probably would do a NOLAN-BOND movie, not "only" a BOND movie.

    Could work, but using ghost or spectre or phantom is always tricky: it often refers to another genre.

    Ha! Well, to put it mildly, I haven't kept up with the continuation books past Gardner.

    That's fair enough. I have a preference for the older Bond continuation novels myself, especially Amis and Gardner which I think are the cream of the crop.

    There's a few good ones there. Shatterhand, Shamelady especially. Zographos I could see it working too, but assuming the title character is the villain they'd need to write him and cast him flawlessly. I like Red Shadow, although I find it a bit weak. How about Crimson Shadow?

    Yes, but I'd prefer The Man Who Was (Only) A Silhouette, or Only A Silhouette, if they use the MR line.

    I like it, but I think somebody in the decision room would make mince meat of it. Too vague, too French, sounds like a superhero movie, etc. Some journalists said that Quantum of Solace was too much of a mouthful, I think Silhouette Man would be even more criticised.

    Yes, I was thinking that myself. The Silhouette Man or The Man Who Is Only A Silhouette for the full quotation from Moonraker. That might be a bit long for a modern Bond title though.

    I love the long Bond titles (they are some of the best) and we are overdue after the Craig era!

    Yes, it would be a nice change of pace. On Her Majesty's Secret Service and The Man with the Golden Gun were the longest ones and both based on Fleming titles. From A View to A Kill missed out sadly. Something about it not fitting on the billboard, even though those earlier titles were longer.
