It’s my birthday so we went to see Temple of Doom. I’ve never seen it at the cinema before and it was terrific.

Excellent choice, @mtm. It's my favourite Indy film. It also has my favourite Williams score.

And a happy B-day to you.

    Happy birthday to you @mtm
Any Indy film on the big screen is worth it.
But 80’s Indy is a must.

A very belated happy anniversary AND B-day to my friend @DarthDimi and a slightly less but still very belated happy birhday to @mtm ! That Indy film in the cinema must've been memorable. I only saw Top Gun (yes, the original) in the cinema 30 years after it's release and I enjoyed it very much, would definately go to the old Indy's as well!

It was nineteen (19) years ago today that I saw Daniel Craig in a boat, hurtling down the river Thames to be introduced to the world as the next James Bond.
I had for several months beforehand been reading the posts on a James Bond forum called Keeping The British End Up, enjoying the banter and discussion of likeminded Bond fans.
With the start of a new Bond era with Daniel Craig, I decided to sign up to KTBEU and become a member. Posting seldomly at first, it wasn't long before I found my voice and contributed on a daily basis.
Over the years I've found many friends and had some truly wonderful times interacting with people who share a love of this character James Bond.
The transition from KTBEU to MI6 Community saw a large slew of fans vacate the forums, but a new group of fans have moved in to continue making these forums a place that I still enjoy visiting first thing in the morning, and when I arrive home from work.
Sure, we have our ups and downs, it wouldn't be normal if we didn't, but I wouldn't want to post my thoughts on James Bond anywhere else.

    Cheers all.

And what a fine member you are, @Benny. We both started small around the same time... and look at where we are now: sipping drinks with the Broccolis, attending parties with David Arnold, Daniel Craig and John Glen, and consulting the producers on where to take the story of Bond next. (I love your idea of an Octopussy sequel set in Australia quite a bit, by the way.) Anyway, it's a joy to be a part of this beautiful place with you. Happy anniversary, mate.
